Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

It is spacious with a private entrance if suitable, large kitchenette, family room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bath/shower full bathroom. Lakeside access. There is complete privacy with a Barn Door closure.

This AirBNB is not only alongside a historic house, but is easy walking distance from parks and downtown Redwood Falls. Geri took care of us from start to finish, the AirBNB was excellently appointed with various things in case we forgot them, and the area was quiet. I can't recommend this property enough if you’re looking to stay in the Redwood Falls region. It is an amazing value.

the house was exactly as described, right off the water in a nice area. Great location for grocery shopping or fast food. everything was within 10 minutes. she was very good at communicating. I would absolutely rent from her again and highly recommend. great place and great stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Fika House! We loved the traditional farmhouse with the large, renovated kitchen, beautiful, spacious bedrooms and newly remodeled bathrooms on both levels. We took advantage of the nice weather and spent time on the deck. The gas grill worked great! We enjoyed eating outside on the patio set with the comfortable chairs. In the evening we watched the sunsets from the lovely porch on the west side of the house. It was a great way to end the day. We appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings embracing the Swedish tradition of "fika" by taking time to relax, recharge and connect with our family. We had such a great weekend! We look forward to returning again.

It was just what we were looking for…..quieter lake than those to the south but close enough to visit their amenities, sturdy & spacious dock, numerous places to sit outside, fun things to do inside & out. The beds felt like I was sleeping on a cloud….so comfortable!! Beautiful setting to rewind with the family!
