The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, accessible via stairs (no elevator), but very quiet and with great views of Munot, Rhine and Schaffhausen. The city of Schaffhausen can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Parking for your car will be provided by us. Large roof terrace for undisturbed sunbathing.
