Beachfront holiday rentals in Woolleys Bay

We had a wonderful weekend away at Nikki’s classic kiwi bach! The location is so beautiful, and it was great to be right on the waterfront. The Bach is lovely and had everything we needed for a great stay. I only wish that we could have stayed longer! Nikki is a friendly, helpful and responsive host. Hopefully we will get to come back again one day!

Janes place is incredibly beautiful. The sun shone down into a little piece of paradise and we did some fishing (and caught fish) right in front of the house! Truly magical spot and Jane was warm and generous 🍃 I will 💯 be back again

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay

It is a fabulous place to stay for families and the additional equipment that they have for the families to use is amazing. The setting is glorious and outlook is stunning. The Bay its self is very safe for children to undertake water activities. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond with additional options for linen because of the rainy weather conditions. We would have no hesitation in booking to stay again.

Lovely place to stay. Very well equipped. Great for family group of 3 generations. Great views from all rooms and always something happening on estuary. Pool table, spa , pizza oven and kayaks provided great variety of options. Highly recommend

Tyson’s Waterfront Bach is located very close to the ferry ramp in Okiato. It has a lovely view across the water towards Opua and is well-appointed, delightful, peaceful and cosy. Access to the water is good, the drive to Russell takes only about ten minutes and there is a lovely, local but at times tricky, walk through native forest. Within minutes of arriving, we were relaxed and enjoying our stay. So it continued for 5 nights. We’d come again. Thank you John

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

This was the most lovely accommodation! It was clean, well-appointed, and had the most beautiful view of the Bay. Wendy communicated well, and provided easy instructions for entry into the car park, and from there, into the apartment. Our two night stay was extremely quiet, which we expected, given it's not the high season, yet there was still enough going on about town that we never wanted for something to do! The location was absolutely ideal, as all businesses were within very easy, close-in walking distance. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer, and we'll definitely look to return!

This is such a lovely place to stay. So central and easy to walk all around Piahia. Place was beautifully presented, beds were very comfortable. We had a great time and my girls were sad when it was time to go home.

Wow, we have truly enjoyed staying at Clive’s beautiful home, located on a gorgeous beach. The location was phenomenal, steps away from the beach with amazing views of the water and sunsets. The home is equipped with all the necessities, very spacious yet cozy, the floor to ceiling windows provide the best views from the living room and kitchen. We are already looking forward to coming back, we had such a wonderful experience.

It’s worth it to pay here. Me and my family love the place.

This is a beautiful condo very central location with waterfront views. If you are not able to climb stairs, there are two flights of stairs to the condo

I’ve been to more than 30 airbnbs throughout my life - both my wife and I agree this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had at an Airbnb. Modern, new property, directly in front of the water with a large front yard with bench’s, swing, and hammocks. Quiet, peaceful and safe suburb. Lloyd is also an excellent host and extremely friendly - we were welcomed to the property with a bottle of red wine, and also provided complimentary milk, tea and coffee. We were also offered paddle boarding equipment and were allowed to check out late from the property. Four square is only a short 5 min drive and open late. The waterfront setting and view were definitely the highlight. Worth a lot more than the advertised price. Cant recommend it highly enough

We felt highly welcome. Vanessa answered a question within minutes and helped out. She asked us if we need anything from the supermarket ( is 45 min. away). Well equipped apartment. Silence. Beach nearly just for us. Perfect. 😀

By far, the best airbnb experience we’ve ever had! My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and everything was perfect, we felt so comfortable and at home at the place. Wendy went above and beyond, and made it extra special by picking up flowers so I could surprise my wife upon arrival. The place is beautiful, with amazing views and Wendy and Mike were fantastic hosts. They were so helpful and welcoming to us. And last but not least, the fresh baked bread each morning was delicious! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend them to anyone staying in the area.

I loved my stay at this Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated—so stylish and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed. It felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient to explore the area. I slept so well thanks to how serene the neighborhood was. The host Karen and Craig were responsive, welcoming, and made sure I had a fantastic experience. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, chic retreat. Absolutely stunning Airbnb, one of if not the best we’ve ever stayed in (we’re doing a round the world trip so have stayed in a lot by now)! It was absolutely pristine, we felt like we were checking into a 5* hotel with the quality of the beds, linens, towels etc. It is genuinely nicer than the photos and more spacious, and it was so appreciated that Anita had some provisions and snacks like milk, chocolates, crisps and fruit there for us when we arrived. Anita is lovely and so friendly! She kindly greeted us at check in, showed us around and how everything works, and gave us some fantastic local recommendations which we did and thoroughly enjoyed, in particular the coastal trail to Paihia and getting the car ferry across the bay to go to Russell. The views over the bay, watching the boats come and go, are stunning. We didn’t use the BBQ that’s on the balcony but would have if we’d stayed longer, which I wish we had! Overall we couldn’t fault this place, and HIGHLY recommend staying

Jeremy & Andrea were helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for morning and evening walk One of the highlights was definitely the wood-fired pizza oven. It was such a fun we really enjoyed making pizzas and spending the evening outdoors

Blown away by location and beautifully presented home, complete with all the bells and whisltes. Loved that we had access to plenty of beach toys, games and books. Did not need a thing. Felt right at home after travelling 800kms. Perfect size for a big whanau who love the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.
