This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

Staying with Susie and Sue was just wonderful! Great communication before and during the stay; everything looked excatly as I pictured it and as described. The two women are just perfectly warm hosts who were so kind to me about everything. We had great conversations and I felt so welcomed into their home. I would totally recommend staying with them!

Tania and Donald were superb hosts and the property itself was wonderful. It was particularly nice to have somewhere so close to the city centre that felt so calm and peaceful with the garden setting. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast provided. Our only minor complaint was that the WiFi was rubbish and no data signal made planning the trip (directions, restaurant bookings etc) tricky. Great spot, great hosts though!

I stayed at Anna's for two nights, and commuted into the city centre both days. Travel from the city centre to the house was very convenient and fast (via the metro to South Gosforth). The area was very residential, quiet, and leafy. Anna is a very personable host and made me feel very much at home, and whenever I needed help with anything she was on hand. The room is lovely, with views out onto the trees. The bed was very comfortable, and it was great to have a private en-suite bathroom. As someone who is perpetually cold I really appreciated that a space heater was left in the room and that there was a heated towel rail in the bathroom. If I return to Newcastle, I would love to stay here again.
