A small river flows in front of you, and you can enjoy a special time surrounded by the forest and the starry sky. The biggest attractions are the open-air bath and the sauna. You can only enjoy this kind of relaxing experience in the forest, listening to the babbling of the river, here. During the day, be soothed by the greenery, and at night, gently unwind your mind and body under the starry sky. It's right next to the river, so you can swim, and you can go to the river from the open-air bath.There is also a deck, so please use it for breakfast and coffee time. On the opposite side of the river, diagonally across, is a neighbor's yard, so it is not a completely private space.We recommend bringing a swimsuit. The sauna stove is a Japanese-made Broos sauna.You can enjoy a high-temperature sauna. Conveniently located in the Aboko area with convenient access to the Jomon Cedar trailhead, and it is the second town of Yakushima next to Miyanoura, so it is also convenient to have access to restaurants! It is also close to the airport, and it is easy to plan for access to each tourist destination. Bus stops are close, and it's convenient to get around by bus. The starry sky from the wooden deck is amazing. ＜ About the facility ＞ There are fully equipped kitchens, dining and living rooms, including dishes, microwave, toaster, and rice cooker. There are two bedrooms (two beds each) and two lodge-style bedrooms, two sets of futons each. In addition to the bathroom with a bathtub, there are two shower rooms. There are 3 washrooms and 2 toilets. On rainy days, there is also plenty of space to enjoy darts, putters, and more. It is convenient for consecutive nights, and it is fully equipped with washing machine and dryer, such as a washing machine, dryer, and other necessary appliances. On-site Rakuten Mobile radio tower and the wifi connection is the best. BBQ equipment can be used near the wooden deck, but it is charged (2,200 yen).

This is a private rental accommodation on a hill overlooking the horizon of Yakushima Island, a World Natural Heritage Site.It is a spacious old house with 77 square meters of space. Please enjoy a relaxing stay with just your family or friends. There are few private homes in the area, and it is a quiet place surrounded by trees and streams. It faces east with a view of the sea, so you may be able to see the moonrise. The starry sky is also very beautiful. The town of Awa, which is convenient for shopping and dining, is a 10-minute drive away.It is a 15-minute drive to the bus stop for the hike to the popular Jomon cedar. This is a private-style guest house that has just been renovated in a modern style and opened in February 2024. It is close to popular hot springs such as JR Hotel, Onoma Onsen, and Kaichu Onsen, and it is also very convenient for shopping because it is about a 10-minute drive to one of the few large supermarkets in Yakushima. The guest house is equipped with 4 semi-double size beds, a dining table for 6 people, a washer and dryer, the latest appliances, kitchen utensils, and a BBQ set, so up to 6 people can stay comfortably. There is a large terrace on the first floor where you can have a BBQ, and a terrace on the second floor with a panoramic view of the ocean. There are very few houses around the house, so it is a great place to relax quietly.

We have another beautiful self contained house nearby which caters for up to 6 people. Have a look “South Coast House “ It is a Japanese house near the popular sightseeing spot "Hirauchi Kaichu Onsen" in the southern part of Yakushima.It is within walking distance with Yudomari Onsen.We recommend renting a car because it is far from the popular mountain climbing course.

Miyanoura Port Convenience: Riverside Entire home

We chose our accommodation's location carefully to make it as convenient as possible. Yakushima is quite remote and doesn't have many transportation options. Yakushima is relatively large, covering about 100 kilometers. There are restaurants and supermarkets scattered around, but it can be challenging to find rental cars or taxis. →You can walk to popular restaurants in just 3 minutes, so you can have a great meal and easily return. Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.

Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki

Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.
