Tea and water are available at the guest house, but meals are not included. Whether you shop at the supermarket and cook, or eat out, we leave that up to you. The nearest convenience stores and supermarkets are about 3 km from the guest house, so we recommend that you come after you have finished shopping. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". A wonderful place up in the mountains of Kyoto. You can feel the city fade away and you are enveloped by the smell of grass and sweet tea. The tea tour was extremely fun and interesting. Daiki has excellent answers to any of your questions, and the tea and food is delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I returned 2 years later. tea moon is a wonderfully restored traditional Japanese house that is cozy clean and quiet. You can wake up with a tea bath and a beautiful view of the fields. I would rate higher if possible. Worth every dollar

The historic Japanese guest house of Mr. Mino is like a picture book, you feel right at home. Mr. Mino was a very courteous and nice host. The house was very close to a station. Very convenient for connection to Osaka. We can certainly recommend it and if we need accommodation in the vicinity of Osaka again, we will be happy to book this accommodation again.

Check-in was a little later than scheduled, but they responded with a smile and the explanation was polite. The inside of the house, the futons and the goods were also clean. They also prepared BBQ equipment and cleaned up the charcoal, so we had a comfortable holiday without the hassle of cleaning up. In addition, they responded quickly to any questions I had during my stay, and it was very pleasant. Thank you very much.

Chie’s Inn was a dream. It was truly a pleasure to be part of this experience. The pick up/ drop off service.. the attention to detail in every meal and aspect of the experience. From the bath to the tea ceremony.. the warm atmosphere in the social room..We stayed one day to the next but truly would have wanted to stay at least 2 nights. The rain in the am just made it perfect, it was so relaxing and peaceful. The garden walk and garden beds and nature all around. This experience is a must when coming to Japan. It felt like a movie scene and having the opportunity to be in the country side of Japan. Learn and emerge in the culture. The food Chie made was delicious!!! And I will be dreaming of the fresh bread buns she made as we arrived in the outside oven. I would come back and because we loved it and I would recommend this place over and over again to anyone who wants to have an authentic experience and relax stay in a rural part of Japan. Very near Nara & super easy to get to Osaka.

Our stay at Icy's apartment for two nights was absolutely fantastic! The apartment itself is stunning – it's clear everything is brand new, with beautiful furnishings and a really fancy, modern design that made us feel like we were in a high-end boutique hotel. Beyond the aesthetics, the location couldn't be better. We loved being within easy 15 minutes walking distance of all the major tourist spots, and the surrounding area was so nice and comfortable to explore. What truly made our trip exceptional was Icy, who was an incredibly helpful and responsive host. We felt so at home from the moment we arrived. Highly, highly recommend!
