Our stay was absolutely beautiful. peaceful, quiet, and just what we needed to unwind. The property was thoughtfully equipped with plenty of things to do, whether the weather was sunny or rainy. From cozy indoor spaces to explore on gloomy days to outdoor activities perfect for sunshine, there was always something to enjoy. It truly felt like a retreat, and we appreciated how well everything was maintained and welcoming.

The hideaway is exactly that! Tucked away in a peaceful & quiet area right on Point Lake. Plenty of fun things to do without leaving the home, like kayaking, yard games, fire pits & more and if you do leave, the home is close grocery stores, hiking trails, gas stations & more. The hosts were very responsive with messages and instructions on how to get to the home. My hubby & I enjoyed having coffee with a lake view and kayaking around the little island in the lake, we also loved all the hiking trails nearby. Overall, it’s the perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, well stocked, and the hosts were very communicative and responsive, even making sure we were aware of some severe weather rolling in. Enjoyed the sauna on the cooler days, and the paddleboards and paddle boat on the warmer days. Kids loved the bunk room. Beautiful clean lake with the added bonus of loons, eagles, and green herons. Nice washer and dryer, and the EV charger was a huge plus. Definitely hope to return!

Steve was so accommodating!! Allowed us to check in early and was very responsive to our request. The house is beautiful! Watched a doe with her 2 fawns out the living room window. Nice view of lake. Our son loved the golf simulator and our daughter loved the massage chair. Easy walk to the indoor pool for the grandkids. Such a great stay!

the place is perfect for outdoor lovers. you really have everything you need and a bit more to just get in the lake for fishing and exploring. the kitchen has all the utensils and utilities (minus dishwasher) you need to prepare your food or even bake. the place is amazing for hiking as well. the house is next to the road but it’s not a very busy road. you’d hear a truck or so driving by but not a regular car. we’re ready to come back later in the year!

This was one of our fave cabin stays of all time! The cabin and outdoor space are even better than the photos. Our family of 4 enjoyed kayaking right from the private beach and the lake is quiet so my 7 year old finally decided to go it solo and loved it! Other fun included playing bags, reading in the hammock and playing games (five star game collection!!) on the most beautiful 4 season porch. There is a large living room that was great for yoga (because it has a big open space and a view of the lake). The beds and linens were comfortable and everything felt so convenient and well thought out. As for amenities in town, the drive into town is only 3 Mn! There’s a large public playground and a small public beach and pavilion, and our fave place of all was a coffee shop called ‘Crosshatch’ which sells quiches, scones, muffins and wonderful coffee. All homemade with art and jewelry for sale. All of that is to say, we’ll be booking again because this was only 90 from the Twin Cities!
