This was honestly a dream location. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everything was beautiful and immaculate while still feeling cozy and very much like home. Hosu is very kind and offered excellent recommendations for not only restaurants but historical sites and experiences as well. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to South Korea.

I was going to go glamping because I had a couple's trip schedule, but I looked it up on Airbnb and visited this accommodation! In conclusion, it was a complete success! As soon as we checked in, we were immediately amazed by the cozy scent and the clean and pleasant kitchen, living room, and bedroom! In addition, the indoor barbecue area is spacious, and it is set up so that you can eat outdoors, so I was able to heal properly!! The cat family that comes as soon as we light a fire is also a killpo. I'm coming to this accommodation for my next couple's trip! I really enjoyed it!!

Love, love, love! Extremely responsive and friendly host who even went out of their way to provide updated local food recommendations in the neighbourhood, and accommodated our early check-in request. The hanok was a perfect blend between modernity and tradition, and sparkly clean as well! Do note that the walk to the accommodation from the station is quite steep and that the neighbourhood is rather quiet at night. Would recommend to others & stay again in the future if possible! We absolutely loved our stay and recommend it without reservation. The hosts are so kind and welcoming, the home cooked breakfasts are delicious, and it is a great experience overall. Very unique compared to staying in a generic hotel or apartment. The neighborhood is also great, feels less touristy with lots of little shops and cafes to check out. Would love to come stay again.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in June 2025. If you are looking for a truly unique, peaceful but modern hanok experience in Seoul, you must come and stay here. Each and every furniture and amenity has been curated and carefully thought of. The local recommendations and little details provided were spot on. Our host Jee and her husband has made a space to come and and unwind any stress in a truly beautiful setting and in a neighbourhood away from the typical “tourist” areas of Seoul. This is genuine modern hanok experience - highly recommended for the discerning couple.

It was a really perfect accommodation. 🥹 The accommodation is much prettier in person than in the photos...! My friends and I complimented the accommodation, saying that it was the first time we had seen a place that was so much prettier than the photos. We went to shoot a bridal shower. There was no place that wasn't pretty, from the living room, the big room, the small room, the kitchen, the bathroom, and even the outdoor garden. It was great to be able to contact the host in the middle and get a quick response! It's a place I want to visit again. 🫶🏻

very easy to take the airport limousine to arrive, as well as get the bus or subway when traveling around the city. the building was secure and had great amenities, and was just a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the general area where there were loads of restaurants and shops with everything you need.

I will definitely stay again! Especially the host is very enthusiastic, explains in great detail, responds very quickly to any questions, everything you need for travel should be provided in the house, no need to worry at all, I sincerely recommend this good house ~

It is in a clean and tidy condition, and all necessary services such as a hair dryer, bathroom amenities, kitchen utensils, washing machine, and refrigerator are provided. There was a convenience store and a grocery store right around the accommodation, so it was convenient to use, and there was no problem using the car because parking was possible.

Great place to stay! The metro is very close, and SE-AH Tower nearby has everything you need. There are lots of great restaurants around—just check Naver Map, and you’ll want to try them all.

This is a lovely apartment in a really great area of Seoul. It was cosy, comfortable, warm and well equipped! Bruce left clear instructions for check-in and was very responsive on messages. The snacks and drinks were a lovely added bonus. I really enjoyed my week in Seoul at Bruce’s apartment and would recommend it!

Airbnb listings nationwide because of a lot of business trips I've used it often, but this place I met in Wonju It was a good value for the money I am satisfied👍👍 This is a place I'd like to book again for my next work trip

First of all - view is just wow and worth the price alone. Host was very good and responsive as well, giving us warnings about possible rain and even helped us take out the trash when needed, as we stayed for a couple of weeks. What matters to me personally while traveling is the bed, and while in this case its just a matrass, I am happy to say that it was probably even more comfortable than my own bed. While the space where you sleep is not too big (you can reach the ceiling with your hand while laying, it was pretty funny), but everything is comfortable and made resting before every day very easy. All in all, I can gladly say this place enhanced our stay in Seoul and we were very happy about it. Host, bed, shower, kitchen, view - everything was perfect. Thank you Joy for providing this accomodation. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at this Airbnb for 10 days and had an absolutely excellent experience. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. It truly felt like a home away from home. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, making check-in and communication smooth from start to finish. My wife and I stayed here for 1 week, and it was well worth what we paid. It was very easy to get around with the metro close by, do note that it’s a steep walk to the apartment if you have mobility issues. It was not a problem for us. The air conditioner worked amazing, as did the hot water. The bed was comfortable & the lack of bedsheets was not a problem and she had this comfy pad on the bad that did not move. The one night some neighbors were loud after quiet hours, we let Kelly know and she handled it very promptly for us, which we appreciated! There’s also a great Indian restaurant nearby, and lots of 7 elevens and other convenience stores. The quality for the price is amazing for Seoul, and we definitely recommend for your next stay if you want a central and affordable place!

the location of the airbnb was absolutely perfect!! as it’s in a very quiet residential area but it is no more than a 10 minute walk away from hongdae (one of the most lively and turistic shopping areas!!) the apartment had everything needed, and the host provided all the utilities and help necessary! would 100% recommend it, i had an amazing stay

Amazing location. Not too far Away from the hongdae street (5-7 minutes away by walking). Area is quiet so i got a good rest after a whole day of sightseeing. Baba was always quick to answer to my questions and the Apartment was completely clean. I had an amazing time in Seoul and would definetly recommend this place to everybody. After staying for 3 weeks it really felt like home. Thank you so much :)

The place is quiet and spacious compare to the other airbnb's in seoul. Definitely very worth the buck. It may be quite far from the central seoul but it is very accessible to subway line 4. Convenience stores and a lot of restaurants nearby.

I stayed for a month and was so satisfied! It was so easy to go to other places because the subway was close, and there were so many restaurants and cafes around that it was easy to choose a menu! The host was also very kind, and it was nice to get a quick response when I needed something or had a question! It was a little difficult to move the carrier because there was no elevator, but everything else was good. If I come to Korea, I want to stay here again!

It was a very pleasant stay, very close to Hongdae, I think Hongdae is the best place to visit, and the homestay is very close to the subway station bus station, so it is very convenient to stay here.The homestay is very cozy and feels very homey. The room is not the same as a normal homestay. There are kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer, laundry detergent, and even curling hair sticks. It is super friendly to girls, and the surrounding environment is very quiet. At night, you don't have to worry about being noisy.The host is also huge and responsive.It's very hard to walk around, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I come.

Place is exactly as pictured. Cozy and has all the essentials. There is a bus stop right in front so super convenient to get around. <5 min walk to Hongdae. You're right near the action but not so close that its too loud. Great location everything you need is right there. I would definitely stay here again.
