House holiday rentals in York

This BnB is in contention for my FAVORITE stay of all time. Family of 6 adults and 1 child had more than enough space, and Jeanne really made our stay effortless. We felt right at home and we didn't have to make that last minute trip to the store you sometimes have to make bc the host skimped on providing toilet paper or dish soap, because she honestly thought of EVERYTHING ❤️ My granddaughter loved the pool and dips in the hot tub after swimsmade the adults happy. The location and view are to die for, and the two pups were ecstatic playing in the large fenced area. We spent a lot of time outside, plenty of furniture, fire pit, just eating dinner on the deck. (Missing NOTHING in the kitchen either!) Our last night we spent sitting and talking on the deck trying to identify the multitude of frog voices from the pond, before we parted ways to our various home states. I am most grateful for memories made and we are definitely considering a repeat! ❤️Thank you!

Beautiful home and very clean!! Fully stocked kitchen, nice linens and beds. Convenient to all attractions and Abigail is very accommodating and kind! Horses came to greet us most times in early morning and evenings which was a nice treat. Also can see the Amish horse and buggies from the house. This awesome home is located on a main highway so if a light sleeper make sure to bring a sound machine or fan. We did fine and would book with Abigail again!

We really enjoyed the stay at your farm house while we attended the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College. The place was clean and comfortable. The hosts were always quick in replying. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks again for everything!

This place was a wonderful gem! Right away you walk in and just feel so at peace. The hosts have done an amazing job at making the home welcoming, useable, and beautiful. They obviously can't control the birds but man were they just so nice to listen to all day. just wanted to sit on the back porch all day and listen to nature. The pool and hot tub were very clean. Instructions for various things in the the house were clear. Everything felt spotless! Anytime we had a question they were super quick to respond. We had the pleasure to meet them both at different times and are so thankful we did. They were so lovely and friendly. We appreciated their recommendations for the area as well. We stayed for two nights but definitely wish it was longer. Our kids (10 & 12) want us to go back next year! We stayed here from Canada as we came to attend the Sights and Sound theater. Definitely would recommend to others. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Our Honey Brook stay was brief but worth it. The house, yard, and surrounding town was beautiful. Chris and Claudia early on were very helpful with recommendations. When it was getting to be close to the time of our vaca their instructions were clear and well timed. I look forward to staying here again, hopefully for longer next time.

My family and I spent Memorial Day weekend in this beautiful home. It was very spacious and very clean. It had every amenity you could possibly want. It had a beautiful family room area and plenty of seating for everyone. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The pool was absolutely beautiful, but too cold for us to use at this time. The yard was completely fenced and very private. We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We hope to stay again soon!

The Red Door Retreat was awesome!! The place was clean and beautiful. There is so many things to do without leaving the house. My dog loved it too :) I will definitely be back.

Very peaceful. Nice views. Plenty to see and do here. The pool was refreshing and private. Tim and Sharon work hard and it shows! Beautiful landscaping. We enjoyed our stay. If you enjoy a camp fire Tim’s spruced up fire pit was very relaxing..

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Boundry Bungalow with our 2 dogs and our 10 month-old child. The house was spotless and more than enough space for us all. You can tell the hosts go out of there way to make it feel like a home with the decor and furniture selections. There is a spacious, fenced-in back yard that was great for our dogs to run around in, and it is tucked away off the road enough that you're not bothered by passing traffic. The place is conveniently located within 5-7 minutes of the highway and was the ideal spot for us to stay as we were in town to visit family. Will definitely be a top choice for us in the future when we are in town! 10/10

An incredibly well maintained home from the 1700’s in an idyllic country location yet still close enough to town for DoorDash / instacart. Best of both worlds. The catch and release pond and stream were highlights for our kids that will have us staying again anytime we visit family in the area. Window AC units work great and Keurig coffee and shower supplies are greatly appreciated. S’mores supplies for fire pit a lovely added bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back

This duplex is fantastic. We came here for our daughter’s wedding and the stay in this house was amazing. The house was very warm and inviting the moment we opened the door to came inside. The cleanliness of this house is remarkable. The instructions of the house were very well written out and in detail. I love the loft upstairs and there was more than enough room for everyone in the house. The kitchen is equipped with all pans and utensils needed to cook including plates and cups. This made it very convenient to have meals ready for the family. Everything was well explained about the house and the decorating is magnificent.

This was my 3rd stay at cornerstone cottage and I already have another stay scheduled. The location is very convenient to everything we want to do while in the area. Stephanie is very easy to communicate with. This time we were hu ting for a very specific Amish made item to buy while in the area and when I messaged her, she gave me multiple places I may be able to find what I was looking for. ( And I did find it there). I stay in air bnbs frequently when traveling but this is by far my favorite one. It is always spotless and feels like a second home to us.

This is our second stay and we enjoyed it just as much as our first visit. It's beautiful and peaceful. Spent a wonderful time with friends we don't see that often.

Colonel G was very accommodating with our last minute booking of his home. His place was well stocked, and filled with interesting books that we spent time reading! He gave us rainy day recommendations around the neighborhood and met us in person. Colonel G and Jeanine were wonderful and we would stay back here in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

The house is beautifully restored and the location is wonderful, very peaceful and scenic. We really enjoyed our short stay. Kitchen is fully equipped. Bathrooms and bedrooms are lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching fireflies twinkling in the trees in the field across the road! Andy communicated everything we needed to know and was very responsive. Great Airbnb. We hope to come back again soon!

We continue to go back to this house because it’s impeccable, the hosts are super friendly, and it is where we come for peace and quiet! I can’t say enough about this house. It’s got a great homey feeling and has everything we need for a fantastic getaway.

We stayed at Elmer’s place for only one night. But it was definitely worth it and will be coming back for a longer period of time next time. We haven’t had the chance to use the firepit since it was raining. However, all the other amenities were well-kept and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Elmer is very nice and responsive host. We visited one of the restaurants she recommended (Agapē), everything was so delicious. I’d definitely recommend this place for a getaway.

Beautiful home with high end finishes. Very clean, endless hot water, heated bathroom tile floors, loved the doors. The view of the river was beautiful and peaceful. There was lots of different wildlife to admire. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. Host, Josh, responded to questions within minutes. Best of all, we were able to bring our two large dogs, which was very important to us as we were there for a family funeral and on short notice. I would definitely recommend this home to someone staying in the area.

Very clean with clear instructions/labels around the house. The neighborhood was quiet even on a holiday weekend. We will definitely stay here again.

The house and property is absolutely stunning! HUGE. The pool was perfect. There was a hot tub and it was amazing on night 1, the next day it would not heat up but Chris was very responsive even while he himself was attending a wedding. The bedrooms were huge and clean, the bedding so comfortable. Bathrooms spotless. We didn’t even get to use the entire house because it was so large. We spent most of our time outside on the screened in deck which was also PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. I would love to stay here again. Thank you Chris for everything! We appreciate you.. we didn’t get to use the fire pit but the set up was so beautiful and the game room was an added bonus.

This little house kept us cozy and comfortable for four days! We had very good rest! The location is win win!

We enjoyed our honeymoon stay at the Lazzaro's curated farmhouse reno in the misty Appalachian hills. We enjoyed looking off the veranda into the deer-filled woods, unplugging and enjoying time without any kind of botheration. The master bed was amazingly comfortable, the rooms combined a timeless aesthetic with modern amenities, and the immense kitchen/dining space with nespresso and modern cooktops surprised and delighted us. Added bonus: we truly enjoyed watching the story of how this house came together on the HBO show Two's Company Design. Love seeing how you intentionally designed this masterfully comfortable home.
