Monthly Rentals in Zahara-El Gastor Reservoir

A Slice of Paradise! The views, flowers and the pool were our favorite part. The house was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. It was hard to leave it each day. We loved the many small white towns, although El Gastor was a sleepy town with not much to do and short opening hours. We would definitely stay here again!

Pia has created a very special place high up in the mountains with stunning views. It is not for those who are expecting "a hotel," though it has pretty much all of the amenities one could need. It's quite rural and remote, on an unpaved mountain road. But one can cook there and enjoy being outdoors. Pia herself is an interesting and very welcoming person. For a solo traveler, I feel she went out of her way to offer her company--but in a completely unintrusive way. She respects privacy as well as social life. I enjoyed all the animals--her lovely dog and the friendly cat colony that lives around the casitas. El Gastor and the other nearby "White Towns" are very special, beautiful small towns with heart and soul, kindness, and, always, fabulous coffee!

Absolutely magical place! The name says it all, cozy paradise through and through. Can’t wait to be back
