Abbiamo trascorso due notti in questa magnifico chalet. Non possiamo che riconfermare tutte le ottime recensioni, le aspettative erano alte e sono state pienamente soddisfatte, cosa che a noi accade raramente. Sia la casa che il giardino corrispondono perfettamente alle foto, tutto molto pulito e curato nei minimi particolari.Bellissimo pure il contesto in cui si trova, circondato da tipiche baite Walter con stupendi giardini.Simpatico e cordiale Beto ha saputo ben consigliarci sulle gite ed i ristoranti. Ottima la colazione, con prodotti del luogo e le marmellate, torta e biscotti fatti dalla mamma di Beto, Valentina che abbiamo conosciuto solo poco prima di partire, approviamo in pieno il suo progetto sulla piazzetta, in questo periodo di individualismo dilagante, il suo entusiasmo per dare vita ad un “salotto serale” in cui incontrarsi e fare collettività, ti fa sentire realmente accolto da persone che amano il loro territorio e che vogliono condividere tutta questa bellezza. Abbiamo passato qualche giorno in questa bella casetta con mio marito e i nostri due figlioletti. La casa è piccola ma con tutto il necessario e davvero tranquilla e accogliente. Panorama bellissimo. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di incontrare splendide giornate che ci hanno permesso belle camminate in zona. Grazie!

Nous avons passé un super week-end dans le mayen d’Olivier ! La rénovation des mayens a été faite avec beaucoup de respect de la construction d’origine, tout en apportant la qualité d’une architecture contemporaine pour l’intérieur. L’environnement est très paisible pour passer un week-end ressourçant, avec de belles randonnées à faire autour. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

We had a great stay at Renata's chalet. The house is lovely, very very clean, everything seems new and is well kept. It was cozy and warm. Views from the balcony are fantastic. The house fits well 5 people, 2 in the top bedroom, 1 in the single room, and 2 on the couch in the living room. The location worked out perfectly for us. The house is about half way between the ski resorts of Macugnaga and Domobianca. The first day we went to Macugnaga, which is a lovely town but had icy slopes on that specific time. The next day we opted then for Domobianca, which had instead beautiful snow at that time. All in all, a beautiful stay - great also for those that like walking in nature rather than skiing (there are paths starting right from the house). Also worth mentioning a great restaurant that makes excellent pizza 10 minutes away by car, called "Concordia".

Lucile's cabin is the perfect place when you want calm and stunning surroundings. I really loved it. Lucile and Ivan a great hosts. Thank you 🙂

We genoten ten volle van onze week in Chalet La balma samen met onze hond Elvis. Je kan prachtig wandelen vanaf de chalet. De chalet is super in orde, gezellig en lekker warm. Marco hebben we niet ontmoet maar hij is een heel responsieve host en we werden welkom geheten door een lieve dame uit het dorp. Bij aankomst werden verwend met wijn, en veel lokale lekkers. Wat een traktatie. Wij hopen terug te komen naar deze bijzondere plek!

This cozy mountain cabin was exactly what we needed for a relaxing holiday. With extremely beautiful views that melts my heart, gave me the quiet moments I needed to recharge. The cabin is very well maintained and has everything you need to feel like at home. Thank you Michelle for everything and we hope we can come back soon in this lovely place.

The house is much better than on the site. It has stunning views of the valley which is beautiful, the mountains which had snowed white tops when we were there (end of May), the garden was covered with flowers as well as the fields surrounding the house. Small streams all around, and that Is almost the only thing you hear except for the birds. The house is well equipped including the kitchen we used a lot. About 10 minute drive the is the small village of vallpeline there is a small elementary shop, a pharmacy and a place to drink. Alberto was very helpful and always answered quickly. W will for sure come again !!!

Alloggio semplicemente perfetto per godersi la bellissima natura da cui è circondato. Diana è stata sempre disponibile e molto gentile e simpatica. Consiglio pienamente!!

Elisa ci ha accolti con la massima gentilezza e disponibilità in quello che è a tutti gli effetti un paradiso di tranquillità e natura. La strada per arrivare all'alloggio si inerpica su un sentiero sterrato, meglio avventurarsi con una macchina un po' "alta", ma fa parte della magia del luogo. Dall'abitazione si snodano diversi sentieri sia per esperti che per meno "allenati". Torneremo sicuramente a godere della pace di questo luogo, consigliato assolutamente a chi ama la pace e la natura, e cerca una via di fuga dalla caotica città

Io ed i miei amici abbiamo trascorso un bellissimo weekend nello chalet. L'alloggio era pulito, ordinato ed aveva tutto il necessario per trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno.

친절한 안내와 깨끗하고 넓은 주방과 식탁 , 7명이 지내기에 충분하고 넓은 침실과 욕실 등 모든것이 만족스러웠어요. 4일동안 불편함이 없이 잘 지냈어요. 아침에 일어나 창문을 열면 그림같은 광경이 눈앞에 펼쳐집니다. 너무 환상적입니다. 그린델발트에 다시오면 꼭 이용하고 싶어요.

Een erg leuk huisje. We werden hartelijk verwelkomd door Laura en haar moeder en de openhaard brandde al lekker bij aankomst. De inrichting is eenvoudig maar alles is aanwezig. Vanaf het balkon heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de omgeving. In de tuin achter het huis kan je lekker in het zonnetje zitten. De tuin is helemaal afgesloten zodat onze hond ook vrij rond kon lopen. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Piera m'a accueilli en français dans ce charmant gîte, un ancien grenier à récoltes monté sur pilotis pour protéger les grains des rongeurs, qu'elle a su préserver et aménager avec bon goût et sens pratique, une halte idéale pour visiter les nombreux châteaux du Val d'Aoste, pratique d'accès à proximité de l'autoroute, dont on entend la circulation depuis le jardinet, seul bémol.

I stayed at Simone’s chalet for a week at the end of February 2025 with my wife, grown up son, his girlfriend and my daughter. The chalet is a short walk up from the car park, near (the excellent) La Grange restaurant and funicular lift. The chalet is self-contained, lined with wooden panels and comfortable with great views down the valley. There is a good-sized sitting room, with dining table and small but perfectly usable kitchen, with an oven, hob and dishwasher. The WiFi signal is good - there is a TV in the sitting room - the basement has a washing machine - the bedrooms are cosy. There is a bathroom with a good shower. We travelled to Turin airport from London and rented a car for the journey to Frachey, which took about 90 minutes. There is a small supermarket in Champoluc, which we used. Communication with Simone was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend the chalet for anyone looking for a cosy and comfortable place, within easy reach of the ski slopes of Frachey.

What can I say: the chalet is enchanting and Margherita/Matilde are wonderful and responsive co-host. The chalet may not tick every single box in terms of modern comforts, but for a precious 600 year old building in a mountain hamlet it is incredibly well designed and equipped. We found it in immaculate conditions and equipped at a very high standard (no dish washer, but there is no space for it). Most things were provided for, rather than the bare empty cabinets one often finds. No central heating; the pellet stove is very cosy and warms up the place very nicely, but it needs to be turned on and off (no time programming). The location is equally enchanting, but it’s a vigorous trek up, so it may not be for everybody. I was moved the moment I walked in, so magical is the place, and felt right at home. It may not be for everyone, but it certainly made me and my family feel privileged to be able to share in its history, beauty and warmth. Thank you Virginia and Margherita!
