The vacation home is located in Hoge Kempen National Park, with the visitor center within walking distance! The park has 450 km of hiking trails, a 110 km hiking trail, an extensive cycling route network and 200 km of mountain bike routes.

Our sunny detached chalet is located on a 450 m² plot, in the middle of the forest on a recreational estate in (Gellik) Belgium. Less than nine kilometers from Maastricht, where we, the hosts, live. The domain borders the Hoge Kempen National Park, where nature lovers can enjoy themselves. The activities are countless: from cycling, hiking, horseback riding, etc. Or a city trip to Maastricht. At the chalet, there is a lockable shed where you can put up to 2 bicycles.

This modern vacation home has all the assets to offer you a great vacation: cozy, comfortable, stylish and artistically decorated, with artisanal tableware, a lovely rain shower, a beautiful private terrace in the countryside. Quiet location in the vicinity of nature reserve de Maten, the bicycle route network, and the Bokrijk domain. You can soak up culture, dine or shop in Genk and Hasselt. The host is a ceramist and is happy to explain her craft in her studio.

Deze bungalow op vakantiepark de Sonnevijver biedt jong en oud een mooie kans om van de natuur in het bourgondische Limburg te genieten. De knusse bungalow ligt mooi gelegen met een beekje aan de voorzijde, wat is afgezet met een houten hekje.

Relax in our lovely accommodation in nature, adjacent to the forest. Also child-friendly and dogs are allowed. In addition to the great surroundings, there is plenty to do nearby for young and old. Cities such as Maastricht, Hasselt, Valkenburg and Aachen are easy to reach by car. But the beautiful hiking and biking trails are also well worth it.

This beautiful cottage is located on the edge of a quiet, small-scale vacation park. From the garden, you can walk into the woods that are part of the National Park De Hoge Kempen with endless hiking and biking opportunities. Maastricht is also nearby, a 15-minute drive (or 45-minute bike ride)!
