We had a great stay at Marlieke's place and fellt right at home after arival. The cottage is very clean, spacious and has everything you need. Marlieke has really thought of whatever her guests might need, from a well stocked fridge and welcoming snacks, high quality kitchen material, to even a sewing kit in case your button falls off and toys to make our daughter feel energised after a long flight. The beds are high quality, the bath luxurious, and the view amazing. With a car you can reach all interesting places (Amsterdam, Utrecht, castle, woods etc) within half an hour. Marlieke has prepared several information maps for day trips and IJsselstein itself is also a lovely little town where we went often for coffee etc. Marlieke responded quickly to all my questions and gave very useful practical suggestions. The family is lovely and our daughter enjoyed playing with the youngest girls and Soof the dog. She was also very happy to be allowed to help take care of all the animals!

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We had a fantastic time at this lovely apartment. The sea view balcony is fantastic. The apartment is spacious and equipped with every comfort. 2 beautiful spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice loft. Beach right in front of the door and several restaurants and beach bars nearby. We also found surprisingly nice. Cruise through the sea lock is recommended.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Soest! The place was incredibly clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated — a perfect retreat surrounded by nature. The horses on the property added a unique and peaceful touch, and there was plenty to do in the area for nature lovers. What truly made the stay exceptional was the warm hospitality of the owner, Denise. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Spectacular, I loved it, everything was very nice, super tidy, and the place is a delight. I recommend it. If I go on another trip, I would definitely stay here and for more days. It makes you want to stay longer

Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

What a great spot! Super sunny tree-top views upstairs, cool and cozy downstairs great for sleeping in. Lots of thoughtful amenities around the apartment, salt and pepper, sunglasses, etc. And such a cute neighborhood!

I and 7 other friends came to Nanda and Peter's place for 5 days. We loved being in the home and loved exploring Haarlem from there. We highly recommend the place and would love to come back some day.

The location of the house on the water is wonderful, especially since a boat to rent was available. In the evening, you can sit comfortably on the terrace and look at the water and the boats passing by.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lunas place. Zandvoort and Amsterdam are close by and instructions to get there are provided. the place is cozy with really comfortable beds/Sofa. the short distance to the beach is really cool, as well as the look out of the living room window. Shelly (Lunas mother) was very welcoming and always reachable. I would come back any time.

We had a great stay at Maria’s home. The home was a great size for the 4 of us, and had a bed perfect for our 4 year old. The kitchen and living room were a great size and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house was clean and comfortable. Being next to the kids park was a huge plus and a very quiet neighborhood. It was close by bike to the city center and to the local train station which was about 20 minutes into the Amsterdam centraal. As others have mentioned the stairs are steep but normal for the Netherlands. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend this home.

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

Magical Airbnb. Amazing location, beautiful home. Casual country inn overlooking massive tulip fields which happened to be in full bloom our whole stay. Large studio cottage including great kitchen, great shower, easy parking, inviting outdoor terrace spaces. Great for biking and walking. The hosts were responsive, kind, friendly and very helpful with suggestions including day trips and restaurants. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful girls' weekend at the accommodation! The house was exactly as described – very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped. We especially liked the cozy living area, where we could sit together for a long time in the evening. The location was ideal – quiet but still easily accessible. The contact with the host was super friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Thank you for the wonderful time!

We had an incredibly beautiful time in this tastefully decorated cottage. Everything was perfect: a great landscape with cows, ducks, wild birds as the perfect backdrop for our bike tours. We very much enjoyed staying at and in the house - outside the free-range chickens and inside the great ambience, which enchanted with a lot of attention to detail. Definitely we will be back.

She was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and even took the time to share local recommendations and places to explore in the area, which made our trip even more special. Her kindness and warmth really stood out—she’s the kind of host who makes you feel right at home. Overall, a super lovely experience. Would absolutely stay again!

We immediately felt welcome with a fresh bouquet of flowers and stroopwaffels and as with good friends: the house is tastefully decorated and everything you need is available. Even in the bathroom, there is a selection of cosmetics. The staircase is typically Dutch (more like a ladder) ;-)

Klass Jan was super inviting and always helpful as needed, including local restaurant recommendations. He also had the fridge stocked with some basics and beers, and a couple of bottles of delicious wines! Very short drive to Gouda for markets, shopping, and restaurants, but still feels like you're in the country after your 7 minute drive to the home. Excellent choice to stay!

We were on site with 2 dogs and had a very nice time. The place was clean and as described. For us, it was the ideal accommodation and we will be happy to come back in the future.

This house felt very warm and welcoming — you can tell how much care the host put into every detail. Even the guest book was full of heartwarming messages. The location is beautiful, right by the river, and I often found myself sitting on a nearby bench, enjoying the peaceful view and doing absolutely nothing. A fun tip: when navigating, be aware that Heiligegeestlaan and Veerstraat are connected by a ferry. It’s a unique part of the experience, so just plan your arrival route accordingly (unless your car can drive on water, haha). The house is also well located — about 30 minutes to Amsterdam and roughly 45 minutes to Rotterdam. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future!
