The greatest thing about this Airbnb is undoubtedly the hosts! They were so incredibly warm, generous, and hospitable. In a city as vast and bustling as Tokyo, their kindness made me feel genuinely cared for on a personal level – a truly special experience. They went to lengths no other Airbnb host has ever done for me. It was such great value too! Beyond the amazing hosts, the neighborhood itself was wonderfully quiet, offering a peaceful retreat from the city buzz. A real highlight of the accommodation was the fantastic bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak, and the modern Japanese toilet. I also loved that there were rivers nearby, which were great for my afternoon jogs. Being close to Ikebukuro was a huge bonus! It was so easy for me to pop over for great coffee and a good selection of vegetarian food. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable, welcoming, and genuinely heartwarming stay in Tokyo!

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

first we chose this place bcs it has early check in at 03.00 pm and later check out at 12.00 pm, no other place offers this. after interacting, Sayo is very friendly and easy to talk to. They even provided us with a baby chair and offered a baby crib 🥰 the place is very quiet, it's usually difficult for my baby to nap by herself but in Sayo's place, she slept soundly during the day and at night so mama papa could rest a lot too 😃 the host is very thoughtful to label everything we need at the house in English ❤️ lastly, it's very spacious. we could open 3 big suitcases at the same time!

Very responsive host, quickly answers all questions. The accommodation is clean, it had everything that was indicated in the ad, everything worked fine. There is a large mall with a grocery store within walking distance. Good transport accessibility. Thank you

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. A wonderful host that not only picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the accommodation but also took us to the local restaurant that was recommended. The house was clean with everything you need including USB chargers, bottled water, and all the items that makes for a wonderful stay. Our host also picked us up and took us back to the train station at the end of our stay! Highly recommended to everyone

Ki’s place is in a quiet neighbourhood, well connected by public transport, variety of options to try the local cuisine. Ki has been a wonderful host right from the time of booking. Recommendation for local transport and amenities have been very useful for somebody who is visiting Japan for the first time. Appreciate the proactive follow up checking our comfort and wellbeing.

The room is tidy and the environment is quiet and conducive to sleep.Many convenient little details also seem very thoughtful.There was also an umbrella at the door of the room, and although it didn't rain during the days of the stay, it made people feel very thoughtful.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Tokyo. The place was very neat and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Oji Station—making it super convenient to get around the city. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and there were plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby. Everything went smoothly during my stay, and I didn’t encounter any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable stay in Tokyo!

Mochas place was excellent for out stay. It is very clean and has all the amenities you need. The apartment was very cozy and it was very close to the train station. Mocha was very responsive and helpful when I had inquiries. Highly recommend.

Overall, it was a great stay! The location is convenient—about a 10–15 minute walk to Kitasenju Station—and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful there for I don't recommend who wants to party. There’s even a 7-Eleven nearby, which was super handy. The unit is simple, clean, and had enough space for two people with four suitcases. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the place had pretty much everything we needed. I do wish there had been a full-length mirror. Also, if there are guests staying in the unit above, you might hear some noise. When I come back I would like to stay again. Yuka was a great host, she responded quickly when I needed to ask questions.

If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would. They were incredibly friendly and provided us so much free food. They were also super accommodating and helped us find their airbnb when we were lost on the first day and escorted us personally there. They are the friendliest people!

Naya’s place is as described in the listing. It’s small but cozy and everything you need is already available. It’s just 3 - 5 mins walk to the nearest convenience store, coffee shops, supermarket, fast foods and ramen house. Around 7 mins walk to the nearest train station that connects to key destinations in Tokyo. Naya and her co-hosts are very responsive and kind enough to answer my inquiries even late at night. The place is highly recommended.

It is a very nice place, I stayed here for 3 weeks, everything in the room are new and clean, and the host replies question instantly. the bath tub was wonderful, I almost used it everyday, the best part is that there is a washer dryer in the room, I just turned on the machine before I going out and will get the clean dry clothes when I go back hotel. I will definitely reserve the room again when I re-visit Japan.

the host was very responsive and kind. they were able to get us extra pillows, which was nice. the room was clean and the extra toiletries were awesome as well. the bed was a lot firmer than I am used to, but I think that's just Japanese style! Just a heads up :)

Clean and Safe place. Very near the train, and a lot of restaurants and convenience store in the area. It's our first time in Japan and we did not had any hard time going to places. Miyuki is kind and always responsive and helpful. Thank you!

I love this place. It’s in a quieter neighbourhood and the room is sizeable especially for the standards in Japan. Only thing is if you don’t like the noise coming from upstairs as the walls are a bit too thin, choose the top floor. But it’s only accessible by stairs. Train station is closed by, convenient.

Fantastic price, great location, lots of lovely food options nearby, the only thing that was surprising was that if you are traveling with a partner, and you have big suitcases, it can be difficult to impossible to have both suitcases open at the same time. This requires some coordination, but it should not detract from the place, which is very solid. Just be aware that floor space is limited.

Great location. Super clean and comfortable. Responsive host and easy check in/out. Sho even left two beers in the fridge for my travel mate and I! Being that it is Japan, the place is a bit small. Perfect for solo travelers or a group of two. This wasn’t a deal breaker for us but just consider before bringing more people or large amounts of luggage. This place is great! Thank you, Sho!

Highly recommended to stay in this location for your trip to Japan. Located about 10 minutes from the train station. The house itself is extremely clean and has everything you need - the dryer in the bathroom was a lifesaver! There are also a lot of nearby convenience stores, drugstores, groceries, and even a Don Quijote. The area is residential so the place is intimate and quiet. Also, the hosts are extremely easy to reach out to. They are accommodating and friendly as well.

It was a great place to stay for our trip to Tokyo. The host was so responsive, and helped us with everything!!! Thank you again!
