You'll be greeted by fresh-baked bread and a kitchenette filled with countless locally made treats. The level of hospitality (and the quality of the accommodations) are far beyond anything we have ever experienced at an AirBNB. Do yourself a favor and book a stay here -- and add on extra days! A spectacular home with wonderful hosts in a beautiful area, it simply can't be beat.

Great place! We came for a wedding in Saratoga and it was conveniently located for us and there was a lot of places around even though the place was on a very secluded country road. It was clean and the bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was nice too. Thank you !!

Our party of four adults and two small kids really enjoyed our weekend in this unique and tastefully renovated former barn. The linens, bedding, and towels were all top quality, the kitchen was well equipped, and overall the place was comfortable and spotless. The location is super private and quiet, surrounded by nature and farmland, including an on-site stream and sheep (that's not a typo). A great spot to stay for a visit to the northern Berkshires - Mt. Greylock and Mass MoCA are very nearby. Our visit was on a frigid winter weekend with a ton of snow and outside temps in the 20s, yet our indoor temps were toasty and very comfortable, especially with the wood stove.

stayed three nights, very unique and lovely place! Beautiful Vermont surroundings, friendly animals, plus lots of chicken action! Very cozy space. Friendly and communicative hosts, Erica showed us around and told us all about the chickens.

This place was awesome! We loved our stay, perfect for our family of 5! Plenty of space, great hosts, well-equipped, brand new kitchen and spacious living area. Loved having the bonus room and the game/exercise room! We will be back for more ski season visits and look forward to exploring Wilmington more in other seasons (and eating at Dot's!). Very convenient location and easy to find.

Heather and Peter were delightful hosts. We enjoyed the beauty and peace of their surroundings. The comfy bed overlooked a pond which we liked. The kitchen hot plate and large countertop oven worked well for making full meals. We even made a homemade deep dish pizza in the oven which turned out really well. The large refrigerator was stylish and quiet. It was good to have a full sized washer and dryer. The living room furniture was really clean which was great. The hosts also gave us a tour of their property.

We absolutely loved our stay. The space was perfect for our holiday get away, and we loved all the amenities. The place was spotless and very well taken care of. We hope to make this our regular spot to stay when we are in the area. Highly recommended!

Beautiful setting and close to Cooperstown. Kitchen was outfitted with everything you need for an extended stay or comfortable getaway. Bring food and enjoy a night inside the cozy renovated barn. We were at home and hated to leave.

The surroundings were just as stunning—peaceful, scenic, and full of character. It was the kind of spot that makes you instantly feel relaxed. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. We truly fell in love with the place and the area, and we’ll definitely be back!

This place was great. Roomy, clean, and exactly as described. The host was so responsive and accommodating. The backyard is beautiful and there are plenty of games and activities to do outside. Amazing stay!

What a cool place. Super private corner of an old farm that backs up to old logging roads in to Mt. Tom State Park. The owners were beyond sweet, sharing veggies from their garden and responding to every little thing we needed. The interior of the house is funky, rustic, some really cool pieces of furniture, and all the modern amenities. It was the perfect place for us.

A Hidden Gem for the Perfect Long Weekend! This place is absolutely stunning—so peaceful, private, and exactly what we needed for a long weekend getaway. One of my favorite things was how secluded it felt. It truly gave us that “escape from the world” vibe. We had the best time paddle boarding on the pond, soaking up the sun, and even getting in some friendly pickleball matches. The space is beautifully maintained, with everything you need for a relaxing and fun stay. Perfect for families. One tip: don’t forget the bug spray! We didn’t pack any and ended up being a feast for the mosquitos. But honestly, even that couldn’t take away from how magical this spot is. Can’t wait to come back!

This trip, I spent a week with Journey & Greg. They are wonderful people & great hosts, who happily share their homestead in a quiet neighborhood. They provide everything you need for comfort and more. I have stayed with them before & look forward to staying again.

Wow, what a place. We were looking for a place to just a cousins girls weekend, in the woods/mountains some where. We wanted a big open space to gather, sleeping for 10 and privacy, we knew we would probably be loud (we laugh a lot and aren’t quiet by nature), this place hit the mark!! We brought all our food and drinks, the home had everything else we needed. This was probably the best weekend we’ve had in a long time. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the deck, enjoying the peace and sounds of nature!

My family traveled to the Catskills for a family wedding. La Grange was the perfect spot for us. It was close to the wedding venue but allowed us time to spend together as a family away from the wedding festivities. The restored barn is such a unique experience - eclectic with French and farmhouse accents. It was very spacious and comfortable. It’s a lovely property and we spent every evening out by the firepit enjoying the peace and quiet. Our 2 dogs loved the outdoors. We don’t have small children but for those who do, there’s a huge playscape and lots of boardgames. Matt was a great host, very responsive and gave great recos. Would highly recommend La Grange for the perfect getaway.

The whole family stayed here for our daughter’s Bennington College graduation and it was perfect. The barn has tons of charm, and is cozy and inviting. I wish the weather was nice enough for us to enjoy the beautiful backyard and fire pit, but that’s for next time :) The barn is on a bigger road, but it wasn’t busy or noisy. My wife and I slept in the upstairs loft’s queen bed and our 19 and 23 yr old kids slept on the twin bunks, and the grandparents slept in the two downstairs bedrooms. Plenty of space to spread out for all of us. Would definitely stay here again if we have an excuse to come back to the Bennington area. It was also a fantastically priced compared to similar homes in the area

Cherly was wonderful, her home is welcoming, clean ,comfortable and have all the comforts of home. We really enjoyed our stay.

My family loved staying here! There was plenty of snow for activities. We went skiing at Mount Snow and ice fishing on Lake Raponda for a day. The barn is so unique and had everything we needed. There were lots of extra pillows and blankets and a big cozy couch to curl up and relax by the wood stove. Having access to the clubhouse was amazing… the kids loved swimming in the warm pool after a long day outside. Brian was super responsive and easy to talk to! We already want to go back!
