It's a 20-minute drive to Saranac Lake and 35 minutes to Lake Placid. It's recommended to have your own vehicle or rental to best enjoy the Adirondacks. Because of its size taxis are expensive and an Uber may take some time to reach you. If you're flying in, the nearest airport, SLK, is 15 minutes away.

No additional fees! Wake up to the sounds and sights of a relaxing Adirondack stream in quaint, little Elizabethtown, NY. The building is in our backyard and the inside is roughly 10x12, with a queen size bed, dresser, a mini-fridge, coffee maker, outlets, a light inside and on the open porch, TV and heat/fan. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book sitting by the fire. Please bring your own linens for the queen size bed and towels. Blankets for inside use provided. The shower/toilet are shared

Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The cabin has both an inside & outside (summer)shower. We have a privacy fence between our home & cabin. In the back yard you will find hot tub, firepit & screen house. This cabin retreat is situated on a natural clearing in the beautiful Green Mt. Forrest. Surrounded by a dense grove of spruce trees gives you complete privacy. It's only a quick 5 minute drive to great restaurants, breweries, and shops in downtown Wilmington. It's also less than 20 minutes to Mt. Snow. There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

Picturesque location on farmland with views of the mountains. We are a micro farm. Wake up and watch the sunrise and go for a short hike on the property, and get to know the animals. We are located 35 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Lake George, NY and 45 minutes from Dorset and Manchester, VT. Hike the Adirondack or Green Mountains, paddle the streams or go to a nearby small city for a play, a festival, or a concert. There is a long list of things to do and see within an hour of us!
