This newly renovated cozy cottage is in the middle of the forest on the Småland highlands. The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town of Eksjö, the elk park in Skullaryd and Skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it is an hour to Astrid Lindgren's World. All rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier's cottage from the 1700s. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing opportunities are available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cottage.

Uddebo Cottage, with private beach and garden

Uddebo is located right by Rosjön and only 10 km north of the beautiful wooden town of Eksjö. The house is located on a headland out on the lake and has a unique lake location with lake views from all parts of the house. From the living room and bedroom, you will exit onto a wooden deck with stairs down to the garden and the jetty. It is a scenic and undisturbed location with houses nearby but not right next door. The proximity to Highway 32 makes it easy to get here. The road can be heard, but for the vast majority it is not perceived as disturbing.

From Gränna you go 10 minutes north along the tourist road with miles of views of Lake Vättern, where you will find Sjöhagen and nature that almost resembles a rainforest without being far from civilization. Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!
