You will stay in a beautiful airy converted self contained studio which has its own entrance and is part of a large Victorian Villa (there are steps leading down into the garden - may not be suitable for those with limited mobility). Guests will enjoy the privacy of the Hideaway with their own outside area. They can relax on the luxury Simba mattress that promises a good nights rest after a busy day.

Townsend cottage is a luxurious barn conversion only 5 minutes drive from Whitby town centre. Rural and sea views. Indulge in the scenery and watch the local wildlife from the lounge window. Private parking. Enjoy the history of this barn - named after Flight Lieutenant Peter Townsend who shot the first German plane in WW11 to land on English soil.
