The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a kitchen counter and sink, a microwave, a blender and crock pot. Is a spacious 24 foot Yurt next to Mt Cardigan state park. From the Yurt you can hike ,snow shoe or backcountry ski on miles of well marked AMC trails , as well as climb Firescrew and Mt Cardigan. This is the only off-grid Yurt acessable to the AMC state park. This is not a drive up, in the winter prepare to hike 1 mile, and in the summer 300 yards up a windy forest path. The Yurt has everything you will want from a wood stove , cook stoves. We have raised the price for plowing cost

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s, as soon as we arrived it immediately felt like home. Lisa came out to greet us and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The space was very cozy and had many little thoughtful elements like snacks, an expansive tea collection, helpful how to notes and a very very comfortable bed. We wished we could’ve stayed longer and will absolutely be back.

Modern Home Private Beach Access @ Newfound Lake

This is an absolutely fantastic home base to explore the NH lakes region as well as eastern VT! Jesse was an amazing host. He was super helpful and offered a myriad of hiking and dining suggestions well in advance of our stay, and even offered an earlier check-in time! The directions were easy to follow, surrounding location exactly as-described, and check-in was a breeze. Inside: The home itself was very well appointed, including a lot of really fun games! We loved how the focal point of the main gathering space was a great table rather than a TV. Excellent idea!! Plenty of space for our family of 5 including 3 older teens. Outside: The deck was lovely, and the neighbors waved to us when we passed, which made us feel right at home. Super close to Newfound Lake, and Squam too- if you want to see where “On Golden Pond” was filmed! :) Odysea was great for coffee and a quick breakfast, and Hannaford is super close for groceries. So sad to be leaving. Don’t miss this treasure!

We had a great stay at Paul's house. We were visiting for ski races at Proctor Academy - about 30 minutes away. The drive to and from was super easy. Bristol has a lot to do - great coffee shops, etc. The house was packed with amenities - the kids in our party loved the arcade games, upstairs hangout room, and air hockey table. The bedroom / bathroom configuration was perfect for our combined families (3 moms, 3 kids). The kitchen had everything we needed and more! Would love to visit again - thank you, Paul!

We had the most wonderful few days at the cabin and honestly, the pictures do not do it justice! It was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy, we had everything we needed and it had some unique, quirky features. The location was really good, not too far where we wanted to go and you felt like you were right in the middle of nature. If you want to get away from it all this is the perfect place!
