Patio São Vicente is tucked away in the corner of the Telheiro do Sao Vicente square in a private Patio. The cottages of “Patio São Vicente” have been completely restored respecting the original architecture yet designed with a modern aesthetic by Paratelier architects. Using Portuguese artisans and designers, the interiors are cosy, comfortable and carefully crafted with custom carpentry. The buildings are of historic importance. The 13th century original wall of Lisbon the “Muralha Fernandina” is integrated into the back wall of each of the living rooms. The corner turret is visible from the courtyard and can be accessed by the garden of one the apartments. You can sit in the quiet, shady patio at your own table, the perfect work or rest space after a long day’s sightseeing. The patio is a natural space for groups, friends or extended families to gather and enjoy time together, while still having the privacy of their own houses. “Casinha B" is divided over 2 floors, the ground floor with a small open kitchen, dining area, wood panelled living room with sofa-bed and a light filled bathroom. The upstairs bedroom is a peaceful space perfect for a good night sleep, sheltered with the “muralha” and completed with custom storage. Victor Lopes Explore the historic center from Patio São Vicente near the majestic 10th-century Mosteiro do Sao Vicente de Fora, the National Pantheon, and the Alfama district's famous market, Feira da Ladra. Walk five minutes to the Miradouro da Graça viewpoint. The 28 tram is steps away. Like most old parts of historical cities, access to the patio can be difficult for those with mobility issues. To get to the "secret" patio you need to walk up a steep ramp but the view of the church and river is worth it!

CASTELO, ALFAMA - CASA BOY DEUS ( 53816/AL )

In the apartment, you won't hear more than four kinds of sounds: the horns of ships passing along the Tagus; the ringing of tram bells as they cross paths in the next street (among them the legendary 28, running through the whole historic Lisbon circuit). The third sound is of the Lisboners of the air, the blackbirds, hummingbirds, seagulls and other birds that stop by the Tagus estuary. The fourth is the sound of church bells spreading through the neighbourhood, coming from the distance through their window of choice. Nevertheless you're in the very heart of the town. The apartment is located in a small square. It opens up to the facade of the church of Menino Deus (which has no bells!), the only one who survived the earthquake of Lisbon. In the square lies the oldest house in town and one of the alleys giving entrance to the castle of the city. The house is located in the confluence of Alfama, Castelo and Graça, Lisbon's most emblematic districts. The main historical sites of Old Lisbon - besides the Castle, the old cathedral, the convent of St. Vicente, the Pantheon - are all within walking distance. The surrounding area boasts dozens of restaurants, fado houses, trendy cafes, local shops and the best terraces in town. All this within a 10 minute walk downtown. The apartment has 70 m2 and was recently renovated. It is located on the 2nd floor of a building from the late nineteenth century. It accommodates up to 4 people. It has a bedroom with double bed. The windows overlook the rooftops of Alfama. The living room was designed to accommodate two more people, for it is furnished with a sofa bed for two people. It has a third division that serves as dining room or reading room. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (with shower). Towels and bed linen are included, of course.

We are hosting you for more than 13 years and love it! This apartment is a family business from cleaning to checkin and we are aiming to provide you with the best experience for your stay in Lisbon! The unit is a cozy one-bedroom apartment in the Saint George Castle walls (Castelo São Jorge), the oldest historical neighbourhood in Lisbon. You are 10min walking distance from Praça do Comércio and Alfama. Please note this is a very old building and there is limited soundproofing between units.

A lovely arty "doll house" 40 sq meters apartment located in the most typical neighbourhood (Fado's nest!). All the main sights are within walking distance. On one side there's an amazing view on the river, on the other a little beautiful square with a children park, where you can see Alfama's everyday life going on. It is located in an old typical building and is on two levels: it will be great for young couples and friends willing to discover the real soul of our beautiful city!

Alfama is the most genuine and authentic neighborhood in the city, marked by ancient traditions, the São Jorge Castle, the Cathedral, and of course Fado, recently considered by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. When exploring Alfama, you can feel the true spirit of the neighborhood with the typical colorful houses, clothes hanging in the windows, and the daily life of the residents with their rhythms and customs.

Yellow Studio @ Mouraria | Castle

The Yellow Studio is located in an 18th century renovated building in the heart of Mouraria, a charming neighborhood in old Lisbon. The street is called Beco das Flores and sits 5 minutes away from the Castle and 2 minutes away from the main downtown squares (walking). It's a rather small flat (22m2) but fully equipped. It has excellent wifi connection (around 100Mbps).

Belo - Lisbon Old Town

The Belo apartment is located in one of the most beautiful old town locations of Lisbon, in the famous Alfama district. You enjoy a particularly beautiful side view of the large Tejobucht and the harbor. The metro station Santa Apolonia is easily reached by foot in 3 minutes from the apartment. We have realised our idea for Lisbon Old Town here with this old town apartment.
