Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Allerthorpe

We booked this for friends to use for their honeymoon. Charles was very accommodating and helpful when booking and the space was just perfect. Particularly appreciated was the wood fired hot tub and lots of useful local information helping them to make the most of their stay.

The House was perfect for our stay very clean and great beds nice tidy enclosed garden which was great for our cockerpoo highly recommend

Lovely cute little barn! Had everything we needed. The village is lovely - quiet and quaint. We went for the birds at Alkborough flats and they didn’t disappoint! Our dogs enjoyed it and were very settled. Only negative would be that we found the bed very uncomfortable but appreciate that’s personal preference. Great value for money!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cow Shed. When we arrived, we thought it looked better than the photos! Christina was welcoming and really helpful. We really appreciated having a travel cot and highchair waiting for us! Our little boy loved seeing the goats and chickens in the gardens and there was plenty of toys for him to play with, he was delighted. The location was also really easy to get to and perfect for our family visit in Wetherby. We hope to come back again soon, thank you 😊

Lovely stay at the Shed - we've been before and it was just as good if not better second time round

Lovely accommodation, very responsive and helpful hosts. The weather was so lovely and there was a lovely sheltered seating area outside, this was so pleasant we actually cancelled our restaurant reservation and ate at the house! Short walk into York, great location.

An amazing find! The house was so close to the city centre and, on a great little high street, it met all our needs! Allowing well-behaved dogs is really appreciated too. Sera was quick to reply to our communications, recommending great restaurants and coffee shops; the property exceeded our expectations and we would definitely book again the next time we’re in York. Just got back from a 3-day stay at David’s place. The caravan is as described, only better. I kept discovering amazing little extras in every drawer and cupboard - from the George Foreman grill to the pasta server, hair curlers and family games. My family loved the Lego, Boggle, Family Trivial Pursuit and Cluedo. The master bedroom was by far the grandest I’ve ever experienced in all my years of caravanning - with a walk in wardrobe, full-sized en suite and a decent sized vanity unit for curling your hair. Facilities onsite are good, especially for young families. Had a few lovely walks along the beach with the dog. Hot tub, of course, was a huge bonus and is clean and simple to use. Thank you for such a comfortable stay. I strongly recommend this host.

This was the perfect place for us, the home was clean, cosy and the location was perfect! Andrèe was a lovely host and the extra little touches she had made to make our stay was a lovely bonus! Will definitely stay again 🥰

we stayed for 2 nights as a family. 4 adults 2 young children. We loved the lodge. It had enough space for us all and was spotless. we used the pool, sauna, tennis courts and a accessed the beach. walking to Filey along the sand one of the days. we are in the pub on site. there was a singer on too, very enjoyable. All told very happy.

Had an amazing weekend at Rachael's caravan, this was our second visit and we 100% plan on coming again. Rachael is a wonderful host who is easy to contact and she takes pride in her beautiful caravan. The caravan was extremely clean, comfortable and very homely, as the weather was warm we spent most of our time outside on the decking which had plenty of seating space and the hot tub was a great added extra enjoyed mostly by the kids. There was plenty to do onsite including the swimming pool, a private dog park where you can let your doggos off lead and play. The staff at the main reception were friendly and helpful and the bar area was clean with lots food and drink options. We would highly recommend coming to stay at Serendipity and we will be visiting again.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Lovely little place. Nice location and grounds. It was the ideal location for me as it was only 5 minutes from the friend I was visiting. Lovely and clean, bed was really comfy and shower was hot and very powerful. Has an air fryer, toaster, small fridge etc. no complaints. The only minor thing I would maybe suggest is a small wardrobe in the corner of the bedroom or clothes rail as there is a chest of draws and only 2 hangers in the back of the door. Could do with some more hanging space but other than that hopefully I’ll be able to book this place again next time I’m up. Thanks Rebecca

When we arrived at the accommodation we were a little anxious about what we would find behind the scruffy looking front door - however, the accommodation suited us perfectly, with a nice suprise or two, and the welcome from Dan and his team far than made up for the lack of paint on the front door!! We would definitely stay here again and can’t fault the food and Guinness at the pub next door (where Dan is chef). Only complaint would be that we didn’t experience a sunset evening, but you can’t have everything can you?!

Perfect stay in a perfect place. Exactly as described and the pictures captured it perfectly. Immaculately clean with beautiful bedding/towels and lots of surprise touches that just made it feel like a very special stay. The cookies were to die for and the bottle of Prosecco & beer in the fridge was such a nice touch. Having fresh milk alongside tea/coffee was very thoughtful. The location is so peaceful but easily accessible at the same time. I was in the area to visit RSPB Bempton Cliffs but found myself just wanting to sit in the comfort of the Pump house and watch the sheep and horses in the fields surrounding the house! Will need to come back again to spend more time in the area as there was so much to see and not enough time to fit everything in - the Pump House will always be my first choice of place to stay. Vicky, you truly have a place to be very proud of and have thought of everything to make your visitors stay memorable in all the right ways. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a comfortable stay. It was all spotlessly clean and we had extra touches like milk, sourdough, butter and jam in the fridge ready. The location was ideal for us too & plenty of parking outside. Sophie was easy to get hold of and answered our questions promptly. We will definitely stay again. Thank you.

Lovely stay in the Old Stables for two nights - wish we could have stayed longer! Despite the Airbnb backing onto the Hosts home, it didn’t feel overlooked at all and we had privacy the whole time. Clean and tidy with a beautiful garden and fab hot tub! Thanks again for a great stay!
