Escape to The Herdwick Hut, a rustic shepherds hut located in a quiet field on a working farm. Our sheep-themed hut has all of the comforts needed to have a warm cosy stay, whatever time of the year. The spacious hut sleeps up to 4 people on double bunk beds with deep, comfortable mattresses. There is a self contained bathroom with a modern shower unit, toilet and bathroom sink. The Barn is a wonderfully calm space with original A frame beams and spiral staircase. The owners live in a thatched house on the same site but The Barn is totally private. We are on the A50 which is a main road between Knutsford and Holmes Chapel and is very convenient for M6 and M56 . This lovely little house with dedicated parking is located a ten minute walk from the attractive centre of Knutsford with its numerous bars and restaurants, Tatton Park national trust property and Knutsford mainline railway station. Many event venues are within a short distance , as is junction 19 of the M6. Manchester airport is a 25min drive away. Many of our quests have described the little house as ‘sparkling clean, quirky, comfortable and well designed’.
