Holiday rentals with beach access in Alnmouth

Thanks for a lovely stay, Christopher. The apartment location can't be beaten. The view from the lounge window is stunning and the accommodation has absolutely everything you could possibly need. Christopher was a fantastic host with great recommendations for local eateries too. Thanks again, we would love to return very soon.

The apartment was perfect in size and location for the things we wanted to see in and around South Shields. The coastline is beautiful, walk to Marsden Grotto along the coast took about 1 1/2 hrs with amazing birdlife (bus back) Foot ferry over to North Shields, bus and Metro ticket good, St Mary’s Lighthouse a must , check tide times. Tyne Mouth a special place with Priory and spectacular views .Roman Fort next to the Apartment a hidden gem and free. Sadly some of South Shields needs a Spruce up like so many places on our Coastline. Elaine is a lovely host.

The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable, it is in a perfect location to explore the local attractions we love it .

A lovely place to stay. The flat is beautifully decorated throughout. We loved staying there. It was calming and relaxing and the bed was extremely comfortable, excellent mattress. The whole place was very thoughtfully equipped with everything you may need for your stay. A stone's throw from the seaftont with lovely shops and restaurants nearby. And the metro station a short walk away can take you anywhere in the area. We would love to stay again. Highly recommended.

Great comfortable apartment, amazing location very close to good restaurants and lovely walks around the old town and city walls. Micro brewery below an interesting feature and no problem with noise, just a quiet burble of conversation sometimes. Free car parking just a few minutes walk away. A very enjoyable stay

A great little place. You can park your car up the day you arrive and not have to drive it again until it’s time to leave. Right in the middle of the action, pubs/places to eat on your doorstep. Take a ramble into Amble, or walk up to Alnmouth. It’s all on the doorstep.

Amazing flat with friendly hosts. The apartment was beautifully decorated with a great shower and really comfortable bed. Easy walk to North shields metro, less than 20 minutes to the Quayside and less than an hour walk along the front towards Tynemouth. Would recommend.

We have just returned from our visit. A real home from home. Beautiful property with everything you need which makes travelling with children a lot easier and enjoyable. The attention to detail in this property is fantastic. The welcome basket , milk and water in the fridge was a very thankful surprise for when we checked in after a long drive. Everything you would need and more is available. Decor is beautiful. Linen excellent quality. Absolutely spotless throughout , everything was perfect. My only regret is that we were only here for 2 days as I would have loved to stay for longer! Absolutely 100% recommend. And we would love to visit again. Thank you Steph. Excellent host.

Great stay in this lovely house. Everything was as described. Fantastic location with plenty of bars and eateries on the doorstep. We walked into Warkworth following a beautiful country bridleway and returned after 8 miles and relaxed in the wonderful hot tub. Leo enjoyed himself on the beach too. Accommodation was very good. beautiful fluffy towels, lovely beds, had all the facilities we needed. within walking distance of Amble and harbour. Within driving distance of Bamburgh castle and Holy island. Lovely stay, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Loved it here, gardens were in full bloom and glorious to spend time wandering around. I found the home very comfortable, and we were very well catered for. Breakfast was fab and the facilities provided all we could have needed.

Really enjoyed our stay in Amble. The cottage was perfectly placed, which let us easily explore the town on foot. We were also within a short car ride from lots of other beautiful villages & places of interest. Marine cottage is very comfortable; top quality beds & towels, lashings of hot water & extremely clean. Lynda is so welcoming & keen to ensure her guests have a lovely break.

Very peaceful stay in a well appointed, clean & comfortable house, easy access to beautiful Beadnell Beach.

Family of 5 (3 children), we had a great stay at Elaine’s place. The house had everything you could need. Super clean and fresh. Great location, and a 30 second walk to the beach. The kids loved the pirate themed bedroom with ample of space. Easy parking. Outside courtyard was peaceful, and private. Highly recommend and would love to return. Third stay at Lady Rhoda! One of the best air b and bs we have ever stayed in. We stayed with our toddler and our baby. We were able to borrow the cot - a very good one too- and it was really easy to get the buggy inside! We have never had a problem with parking either and always manage to get the spot right outside! We will be back again! Thank you!

Oh wowwww. Not sure I can fault this Airbnb at all. Fantastic location in the middle of town – Berwick upon Tweed has some absolutely breathtaking local spots and The Nest is walkable from all of them. Lesley goes out of her way to make you feel like you’re staying in a proper home away from home, with extra amenities, personalised touches and thoughtful essentials. Lesley even stopped by to bring us a fan to help us cope with a few nights of unprecedented heat. The space is small but spacious and well put together. Plus that back deck is the icing on the cake. Ta, Lesley. We couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Abi’s place was in a great location overlooking the sea. The house was immaculate with high quality fixtures and fittings. It was very spacious and ideal for our family of 4 with one baby

Fab stay at Diane's place. Lovely apartment equipped with everything you could need for a holiday. Loved the location which is peaceful and close to the beach and nature, yet also a great base for exploring.

We booked this apartment at very short notice following a change in our plans. The hosts responded very quickly to make the property available for us and even allowed us flexibility with our check in. The Old Bakery exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our short break holiday being close to Cullercoats and Tynemouth centre and a great stretch of beach. Next time we are looking to stay in the area we will definitely be booking this again.

Booked as I was working in the area and bored of hotels. It made a few days working away bearable. The apartment was exactly as described, immaculately clean and modern. Once inside it's really private no noise, and very calm decor. Kathryn was really responsive and keen to ensure I was comfortable and all needs met. Will definitely be booking again when staying in the North East for work, a lovely home away from home.

Amazing flat in Berwick. Great kitchen amenities including oil, salt and pepper! Nice touches like tea, coffee milk too. The place was very clean and tidy. I’ll try to book again when I’m in the area!
