Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Altamaha River

We had a nice three-day visit here. It is centrally located with easy access to I-95, as well as the coastal sites. Savannah is an easy drive from here. The house adequately met our needs and we felt comfortable and safe. The hosts were very helpful. Responses to the few questions we had came promptly and were easy to understand. Having the fenced yard was a real plus for our dog. Thanks for hosting us!

Had family come in town for graduation and Alfred's place was in the perfect spot. Very cozy and everything was just as described. Definitely worth every penny.

Sherry’s Coastal Getaway in Shellman’s Bluff is a true hidden gem! The space was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated with coastal charm, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. We loved the peaceful setting—surrounded by nature and just a short drive to the water and lots of good restaurants. Sherry was a wonderful host—friendly, helpful, and quick to respond.

Perfect place to relax and unwind while we visited with family in the area. Everything was clean and absolutely beautiful inside/out!! Definitely will book again when in the area

Ron’s place is extremely peaceful and such a cute place to stay. The loft bedroom was really cool, and the whole place was decorated really well. We enjoyed the boardwalk and saw dolphins in the river, sat around the fire pit, and drove to one of the local seafood restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful just as described and the surrounding area was peaceful and very well-kept. Everything inside the home was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Communication with the host was also excellent, which made the experience even better. The only drawback was the location. We were under the impression that the house was closer to Jesup, Georgia, but it turned out to be about 10–15 miles outside the city, closer to a small town called Odum. This added about 25–30 minutes to our drive whenever we needed to get to Screven, which was our actual destination. Aside from the distance, everything else was wonderful, and we really appreciated the hospitality and overall quality of the stay.

Had a great stay! Aloft is a very charming space with easy access to all amenities and fun things the island has to offer. The host was responsive and gave great recommendations for local things to do!

We had a GREAT stay here.We were probided everything we needed to have a nice stay, comes either beach towels, and even some water toys.Both rooms are a decent size and the bathrooms were very nice and clean. The apartment is about 20 minutes from the beach so it was very convenient.Our host was super friendly and responsive and helped us make the best of our trip.Would stay here again

Shelley’s place was perfect for our 2 week trip to Brunswick for an internship! It was a great location, close to everything but still cozy and tucked away. Very easy to run downtown to eat or to head to the island! Shelley was so kind throughout our stay. She made sure the porch light was on when we checked in during a storm. It was always nice to run into her in the driveway and chat. Would definitely recommend!

The location was good, a short walk to hop-on-hop-off trolley stop 5. A 5-8 minute Uber ride to restaurant and shopping areas. The parking in the back was a major plus. The location is quiet, no city noises. However, the AC units outside are near the bedroom windows and can be heard cycling on and off. Although, I had no problem sleeping.

The apartments was super cute, had everything you needed. It was walkable to several great restaurants and bars. In between St. Simon’s and Jekyll. Outside of house can use some TLC but overall it was a great, clean place in a good location to things.

This is an ABSOLUTE stay again! The suite was huge, very clean spotless. Cozy and felt like a resort style. The fire place was such an amazing touch and the accommodations were so cozy. I was beyond happy and pleased with my suite. The hot tub was very clean and warm and the shower was like a room itself! The design of the home is flawless.

This studio was perfect for our stay on Jekyll Island. It is located right next to Driftwood beach which was our purpose for visiting. Found some good restaurants with great entertainment and good food- recommended in a very detailed book left in the unit by Michael. We had access to coin laundry while we were there which was wonderful as we are in the middle of our 3 week trip and our other accommodations did not have that option. Thanks again!

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights on our way down to Disney and let me tell you this is one is the sickest airbnbs I’ve ever booked! Your just minutes from all the main attractions and walking distance to Starbucks/ stores if need be (although we door dashed) . Paul is so kind and helpful and takes a true interests in his guests to ensure we had the best stay possible! 11/10 RECOMMEND!!

The Beach Club condo is as described: great location, beautiful surroundings, and easy beach access. Laurel was an excellent host. Great communication. Highly recommend this listing. We definitely stay here again during our next trip to SSI.

I had such a lovely birthday getaway with my boyfriend in Savannah. You cannot beat the location! We were walking distance from shopping, food, ghost tours, and historic landmarks. We will be back in the fall :)

I stayed here with my husband, 9 month old baby and little brother & we had just enough room! It was a wonderful location and it was clean and the kitchen had a lot of dishes! We loved staying here! The location is amazing too! Beach is less than 10 min drive and we could walk to a lot of shops within 15 mins! McDonald’s, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A are less than a 10 minute walk. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Just a great experience all around! Beautiful property with the charm of being in an old, historic building but newly renovated with modern amenities. You can’t beat the location right on the river in the midst of all of the riverfront attractions. The place was spotless when we checked in, and the communication and check-in process was clear and simple. Sarah was very responsive to a few questions that came up during our stay. I would absolutely stay there again the next time my wife and I are in Savannah with friends.
