Restaurants are a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive away. MOUNTAIN RAILWAYS Werfenweng 2 km, OBERTAUERN 49 km, Ski AMADE and Therme AMADE 25 km. Many excursion destinations are nearby. Eisriesenwelt, Hohenwerfen Castle, Eagles Nest and Königsee/Berchtesgaden, Salzburg city 45 km. Hallstatt, Großglockner High Alpine Road can be reached in 1 hour by car.

The vacation home "Strickerl" is located in one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the world, in the Salzkammergut. We are located at an altitude of approx. 880 meters, which makes our guests immediately feel the alpine feeling. With us you have the opportunity to enjoy relaxation & the Austrian idyll. Apartment "Hoamatgfühl"

Our apartment is built in 2016 and we loved it to design the rooms, the equipment and the decoration. It´s based on the ground floor of our house and has an seperate entrance, an extra room for skies/hiking shoes, an extra entrance and a directly conecting to the terasse and the garden. The appartement is fully equipped and the overview to the beautiful mountains around you can enjoy sitting on the couch :) Just try and test the "homy" feeling in our house...

Many exciting destinations, whether in summer or winter, can be reached in just a few minutes by car. Cycling and hiking trails, the family ski area Monte Popolo, as well as the cross-country ski run and winter hiking trail are in the immediate vicinity.

The apartment is located on an farm right in the middle of Salzkammergut on the picturesque Mondsee Lake. The children-friendly accomodation serves as a perfect starting point for families for various excursions and trips in the MondSeeLand region as well as in Salzkammergut. Pool, new wellness area with with sauna and infrared cabin for your use. Tourist tax is €3,10 per person/day aged 15 and over.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. The wonderful tranquility and the beautiful view of the Grossarl mountain and natural landscape is ideal for relaxing and recharging. In winter, Grossarl has a state-of-the-art ski resort with beautiful downhill runs and deep snow slopes. Since our house is located on a hill at 2.5 km mountain road snow chains are recommended in winter.

The bright apartment (about 65 sqm) in the basement offers plenty of space and comfort to stay and sleep in. We are centrally located in the double vacation paradise Altenmarkt/Zauchensee. Seating options, as well as bicycle parking spaces are freely available behind the house. You can walk to the town center in 7 minutes. We are happy to welcome you to our house:)

We planned and built the apartment ourselves in a unique way. It is centrally located and yet in a quiet location. A ski bus stop is a few meters behind our house. The city center is a 5-minute walk away. We are in the center of countless well-known ski resorts (Reiteralm, Obertauern, Ski Amade, Zauchensee,....) but even in summer there is a lot to offer!
