Monthly Rentals in Altoona

We LOVED this little condo in the woods! We were surrounded by beautiful forest, enjoyed the daily melody of bird song, & OMG the bed was so comfortable! I looked forward to getting into it every night & never wanted to leave it in the morning. The convenience of having the washer/dryer and full-sized appliances in the kitchen was like having a home away from home. Although we never got to meet Rose in person, she was always available through the app to ask questions. Admittedly, we weren't prepared for the long, winding journey to get to the condo & didn't realize it was so high in the mountains & isolated, but we still enjoyed the experience. The condo is close to a resort where you can ski in the winter & do other activities year-round. Our purpose for renting the condo was to scout out Pennsylvania & decide if this state will be our next home. Verdict? YES! Highly recommend staying here, especially if you want to get away from it all. Still only minutes to amenities, though!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Two bedrooms both with en suites in a spotless beautiful house. Also a washer & dryer, carport and the ability to control the temperature in three different zones of the house. You can walk to the Altoona Campus, restaurants, and it's a short drive to DelGrosso's, Railroaders' Memorial Museum, Baker Mansion and the Horshoe Curve. This is how all Airbnbs should be!

Adorable and clean, with lots of thoughtful extra touches. The kitchen has absolutely everything you might need if you want to cook meals during your stay, and the living room and bedroom are very comfortable. I usually hesitate to book spaces that are on the owner's property because I like my solitude, but the entrance and patio for this apartment face away from the main house and there is separate parking, so it feels more private. Overall a very nice visit.

Bill & Julie are exceptional hosts. They provided easy to follow directions and are quick to respond. The condo has everything you need. The location is beautiful. We had to extend or stay twice due to unforeseen circumstances and Bill & Julie made the process stress free!
