We loved our stay in Sara's rustic farmhouse cottage with its glorious views across the valley, little hill towns on the other side and a beautiful scenic drive across to Orvieto on one side (about 1 hour) and Todi on the other. The pool was heavenly. We only had swimming weather for the first week but we were in every day. When the mornings were cold, I also enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning sun, reading and drinking my coffee. The garden is also beautiful and very quiet. It was so peaceful here - and what a dream to have the pool to ourselves. Sara lives in the other half of the house with Simone, her partner, and Eugene, the dog - but we never saw them (they have their own entrance) except when they were cleaning the pool. The house is full of art and ceramics, some of which are Sara's own, and we even had lunch in Todi at Simone's restaurant. Yes, the road is rough, but so are all roads in Umbria. We have a mini and the road was not a problem.

Immaculate views, especially if you're looking for isolation. Gorgeous pool, plenty of room, amazing balcony, wood burning fireplaces - what more could you ask for? I spent 3 weeks here and enjoyed every minute. Was an excellent retreat space, and would love to come back again

Incredible farmhouse in a very quiet place. The outdoor space is really huge and perfect for our setter who hasn't stopped for a minute. Really great solution for those who have a dog as the space is huge and completely fenced. Then, well, the house doesn't need any further description, the photos speak for themselves. Perfect stay from start to finish. The villa was immaculate and the staff who checked us in were fast, considerate and friendly. They informed us of extra services that we ended up using in the end like we organised a dinner with their private chef on our last night and it was amazing. The thermal pool and sauna were TOP! Highly recommend and will book again!

Our stay at Villa Blue Melon in Lake Bolsena was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I stayed for two nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The villa is beautifully situated right on the water — peaceful, quiet, and incredibly scenic. It’s also gated, which added a nice sense of privacy and security. Andrea was a wonderful host, meeting us personally at check-in and making sure we had everything we needed. The interior decor was immaculate — every room thoughtfully designed and impeccably clean. The wellness room was a special highlight, perfect for unwinding and adding to the relaxing atmosphere. While it was just the two of us, the villa has plenty of space for a larger group — it would comfortably host six guests with room to spare. It’s also very close to town, so restaurants, shops, and the local charm of Bolsena are just minutes away. We loved our time here and would stay again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-designed getaway.

Each room was designed with exquisite taste and attention to detail. The outdoor terrace and the adjoining pool area provided perfect spots for relaxation. Our days were filled with adventure as we embarked on various hiking trails and visits to nearby vineyards and historic towns. The hosts at Palazzzetto di Marmo went above and beyond in providing us with everything we needed. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful recommendations on local attractions, we felt well taken care of at all times. In summary, our stay at Palazzetto di Marmo exceeded every expectation. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! After a long day of travel, Guiliano welcomed us into the charming loft with cheese, crackers, Prosecco, cookies, and a bowl filled with ripe fruit. He also stoked the fridge with yogurt, cheese, eggs and a few other items. We made a delicious breakfast the next morning. The loft has the most picturesque postcard view. We just sat and stared often. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were also fresh flowers in small vases throughout the loft. It had so much character. 50 steps away from the front door is the main historic town with all the restaurant and shops. The town is extremely beautiful. This was better than any 5 star hotel.
