Lovely house, great views, within 30 mins drive to all main south lakes sights. Communication and check in all very easy and clear. We had a great stay :)

We had a fantastic time and Dwarf Studio was just perfect. It was clean, bright and so comfortable. It had everything we needed and had a real luxurious feel to it. The bed was so comfortable and Julie had really gone the extra mile to make our stay, right from the moment we first walked the door absolutely perfect. I would recommend this to everyone and will certainly stay here again.

Had a great time staying here with some friends for a long weekend in the Lake District. Really unique house, and easy access to great hikes.

Had a lovely short stay at The BoatHouse. Views were absolutely stunning and the accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The beds were super comfy. The work next door was a little noisy at times but we were pre-warned and to be honest it didn’t bother us. Just beware to close the blind in the bathroom as the crane provides a direct view in! Please note that you need to bring your own toilet/kitchen roll for the accommodation otherwise everything was extremely well stocked. Would definitely return!

Nice clean cottage in a peaceful location. Host was very responsive to pre-check in requests. Great couple days had in Grasmere.

Great air bnb, well worth what we paid, in a fantastic location. All amenities provided and the prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch, wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great from the start, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. Sarah, her husband, and Joey were so lovely and welcoming, and their gorgeous dog made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay, would love to come back!

Perfect location. 10/10. I did not want to leave. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, unbelievable views, superb location, easy access to logs for fire with which my husband was delighted. 100% would return... tomorrow if it was possible! Our dog (border terrier) had a fantastic time too and was very interested in the wee hedgehog who appeared to be living in the bushes outside and the free range chickens!! There was also a free range doggo popping round to the garden in the evening. Vigilance/ Lead/ supervision was a must for our super inquisitive pup.

We had a lovely stay; the location is wonderful, surrounded by farmland with baby lambs overlooking the seating area! The apartment is very well specced and looked after, with a small garden house further up the hill opposite and an amazing river a short walk across the fields where we went for a swim. The photos do not do the property justice, it is a gem. Would definitely come back to use as a quiet base to explore the lakes from again.

This was our second stay at Fiona’s place and we loved it just as much as the first. The location is so beautiful and the views from the window are perfection. The beds are so comfortable and the sheets were so luxurious that we looked at the label on the bedding and ordered the same ones before we left! We were within 25 minutes drive of Buttermere, Crummock Water, Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite, all of which were amazing swim spots. Fiona is very friendly and was available to answer any questions we had. We will be back next year. 😊

It was the first time for 15 years my wife and I , had a break away on our own. I could not of chosen a better place to stay, or a better host than Liam. He helped to make it a weekend to remember! We give him 6 Stars, because the whole experience was worth a 6 Star categorisation ! And I am NOT easy to please 🙏🏽

This was one of those places that you would wish to keep a secret. The views are breathtaking, the area is quiet, perfect for a retreat for people willing to charge their batteries from their busy lives. It's a bit off the beaten track, so you need a car or a taxi from the train station to get there, but you can rest from the busy touristic towns of the Lake District. Jeanette was a very discreet and lovely host. She furbished the place with great care. Thank you Jeanette for hosting us, your place was a dream come true!

Robin is an exceptional host with a just as exceptional home. We ended up arriving later than anticipated at the dead of night, and also had some car issues (which he ended up rescuing us!) and he went beyond what a host would ever be expected to do. As well as providing helpful pointers on where to go & what to do. The place itself is absolutely beautiful, exactly like the photos. The log burner really makes the space for when you get home late and just want to relax and unwind. I can’t recommend this place enough, for the actual space and for what you get with Robin as a host who clearly cares deeply about his BnB and making guests feel welcome. Thanks and looking forward to coming again soon!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, nice apartment everything we needed was provided and was kept to a high standard. The only let down was parking as we were the only place without a place provided. All in all a great experience.

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!

Great location with easy access to most local attractions. The place was lovely and cosy, perfect for a relaxing stay. Andrew was very responsive and helpful. He kindly accommodated our early check-in even though we requested it on the day. I'd love to stay here again when I return to Bowness.

Lovely little bolthole, incredible location in the heart of the village. You’re a minute walk away from most of the restaurants, pubs and sights. Getting checked in was super easy and the place was spotless, thank you Nia!

Can’t speak highly enough of the accommodation, the welcome pack was a lovely touch and had far more in it than we would have expected, location was perfect for what we wanted including a great little walk along a steam railway line to the lakeside hotel. For entertainment try the local hotel, the barman was really funny although pretty sure it was unintentional 😂 would definitely go back, the accommodation, not the hotel with the barman..

It’s a cosy apartment with all the necessary amenities and more- good for a family of 3 or 4. Very accessible, 5 min walk to the railway and tourist info centre, with buses towards other parts of the Lakes right at the doorstep. Loved our feline neighbour as well :)

Abigail’s is the most beautiful home! We visit every year not only because of the home but because of Simone, the host is amazing!! She really is a 10/10 host, very easy to talk to, caring and very responsive to your needs! We feel very lucky to spend our time in the lakes but thats a huge thank you to Abigail’s for making our holiday special! Thank you Simone - you’re amazing 🤩

We absolutely loved the rooftop! Arriving to a few treats and a hand written card was a perfect start to our stay! The apartment was very clean and tidy, we highly recommend!
