Monthly Rentals in Ancroft

We had a fantastic three days with my daughters. We visited the islands of Lindisfarne which is only a 10 minute drive, Berwick and Edinburgh by train. The house was really cosy, light and airy with minimal traffic noise from the A1 even though it is nearby. The house is super clean. The kitchen has excellent Facilities. The beds were really comfortable with spotlessly clean linen. Weather was awful on one of the days so we lit the woodburning stove which was tremendous. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience and strongly recommended.

If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay, this is it! The cottage is in a fabulous location, with a sea view and plenty of space to sit outside. We were lucky with the weather, but if it's not so good there is a cosy sitting area inside. The beds are also really comfortable. All in all, definitely to be recommended.

Loved staying at Carol’s in Berwick. The top floor apartment is beautifully decorated and comfortable - felt right at home. It is only a few minutes walk from the train station and a short walk to the town centre, making it ideal for a car-free break. All of Berwick’s shops, restaurants, bus and walking routes are close by. Highly recommend the flat and the town!

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, looked just as photos. Everything spotlessly clean. All you could need was provided for (towels, kitchen utensils etc). Enclosed area both front and back of cottage. Washing line at the back too. Great communication from host too, quick and helpful responses. Had a little trouble finding it due to postcode covering a large area, but asked a friendly local who was very helpful and then found it no problem. Messaged host about local places to eat and was recommended the Cross Inn in Paxton (about 15-20 mins walk away) which was a great little place and a delicious dinner. A very peaceful location, surrounded by fields. Our little furry friend loved it too! Would absolutely stay here again 😀
