Nice cosy house in a quiet and peaceful village.

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Really nice house, with a great view!

Wonderful stay! Loved the house and the location was perfect for us. Close enough to explore other cities but also very peaceful and private location. We enjoyed seeing the sheep in the property and loved the large windows. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we can’t wait to return!

We had a great stay at Lisbeth's. The apartment corresponded to the description. Lisbeth was an excellent host, totally sweet and friendly. We were able to check in a little earlier and a fruit plate was ready for us. Coffee and tea were also available. After a great sea eagle safari, we enjoyed the sun on the terrace and the view. The apartment also offers a sauna, which we also used on the rainy day. The bath in the ice-cold water was an experience. We were able to leave the car in front of the door for the way to Svolvær center. Everything was within walking distance. Overall, we can only recommend Lisbeth's apartment.

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

Spacious rooms - we were 4 adults, and had plenty of space. Delicate bathroom, large and practical kitchen. Free parking just outside the door. Beautiful surroundings with a sandy beach in the immediate vicinity. Short distance to shops and the city center. We had a great time at Kathrine's. Thanks for us!:)

The host is very responsive. The unit is easy to locate. The place is quite, with 1 car parking slot available. The floor is a bit sticky.

This place was conveniently along our route and we had a really good time after a heavy sporting day. The destination was exactly as the ad implied and actually even better than we expected. Everything went very well, we were very satisfied.

Very large and comfortable flat, perfect to visit the area!

We highly recommend booking this appartment. It is located in the small harbour of Kaljord, ferry only passes by few times per day and you can barely hear it. The availability of the ferry makes this the perfect place to visit Lofoten. The appartment is spacious and clean and provides all the comfort one could need.

Large apartment, with two bedrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen! Clean, central, warm and modern. Lise was super helpful in giving us all the information we needed. Definitely recommended. Easy check in!!

Excellent flat within 15 min walk of downtown, Laddawan was very responsive and helpful, the bed was comfy, the shower was excellent, the kitchen was well stocked for you to cook at home and relax. Highly recommend! We would happily come back and recommend to friends.

The apartment was really very nice, superbly furnished and you had everything you needed. We felt right at home. The view is also very nice. We had very low-hanging clouds with drizzle, so we had no visibility. We can only recommend the apartment.

Perfect place for us to stay - we were only there a night, but we loved the home. Jannet was also very easy to work with and communicate with.

Very good, close to the city center

A great stay at André’s apartment which was very clean and comfortable. The walk to the apartment is about 30 minutes from town but the scenery en route is lovely so it’s ok! Very quiet and nice neighbourhood. André was very accommodating and responsive too! Would recommend to anyone :)

Very cozy apartment in a nice location close to the sea. Tidy and clean, so everything was tip-top. About 15/20 minute walk to the city center, so it's a nice little walk.

Peder is very nice host with clear instructions. He took care of us from beginning to end. Especially he gave us the fresh fish when he knew we like fresh fish. He made a special fishing for us that day. The fish is so fresh and tasted. He offered us a lot of activities if we have a free time. The place is surrounded in wood and very peaceful. It is good for a family for a long vacation. We strongly recommend it.

Great campsite in a beautiful location and with very friendly and helpful staff! The apartment was very clean, comfortably furnished and you were on the beach in a few steps. We would definitely come back!

Great value for money, felt like a home away from home. Extremely cosy, amazing views, great locations. I tried to book again straight away but seems to be very popular ;)
