The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Whilst it may not suit everyone - especially those who require the comforts of a night ensuite bathroom; from the Barn you will have no neighbours, no street lights and a huge night sky of twinkling stars. Nestled on our 5-acre property named Pondicherri, The Barn is set amongst a collection of historic outbuildings offering a countryside escape.
