Mariners Cottage is a beautifully restored traditional cottage, nestled between colourful cobbled streets in the charming fishing village of Appledore, North Devon. Our newly renovated dog friendly cosy cottage is the perfect base to explore the local area, the fine eateries and the stunning coastal walks. The log burner is perfect to relax in front of, after a day out. We live locally, and are on hand to help with any recommendations or questions you may have. We look forward to welcoming you.

Long sandy beach is great for surfing, swimming or walking. Coastpath/golfcourse 5 min walk away. Cycling -Tarka trail, 2 miles. Ideally suited for couples or with baby/older child.( click/clack small sofabed with topper is fairly basic but OK for short stays for 1 or 2 people for an odd night or two!)

The property boasts its own dedicated parking space, a shared, second parking space and ample on-street parking. Fully equipped home including dishwasher and washer-dryer. Only a five minute walk into Appledore village with its wonderful cafes, boutique shops and restaurants. Up to 3 (well behaved!) dogs are welcome at no extra charge.

Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Sit on the patio and watch beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic as fishing boats and yachts sail by. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore. From the inglenook fireplace to the exponses beams and arches, this cottage is full of character and history.

Welcome to our coastal retreat, West Quay House has got everything, spacious living space, central location, top quality fittings and furnishings, and a breathtaking view. West Quay House offers stunning uninterrupted views across the ever changing seascape of the rivers Taw and Torridge estuary as they meet the Atlantic. The view is dynamic as the tide rises and falls bringing the sea to within 2m of the house at high tide and revealing the estuary rocks and sands at low tide.
