Casita Close to Taos Ski Valley

Casita Seco is located on an acre of pasture land and within a short walk to the quaint town of arroyo seco. This studio rental has mountain views from every window surrounded by pasture land and an organic farm. Casita Seco is a short distance to the Taos Ski Valley on one end and the Town of Taos on the other. At least four restaurants are within walking distance along with galleries and shops. Casita Seco is an Adobe studio with Southwestern charm. Saltillo tile floors keep this studio cool in the summer, in floor heating keeps it cozy in the winter. The kitchen is fully equipped. Fun activities for all ages in the Taos area include: skiing, snowboarding in surrounding towns, mountain and desert hiking to rivers and waterfalls, rock climbing (we can help with reservations), whitewater rafting and kayaking, hot air ballooning, golf, tennis, and mountain biking. World class restaurants, shops, a cinema, including a weekly art film series, museums, art galleries, classes, and workshops. Something for everyone. The Taos Ski Valley has many fun events throughout the Winter; the Taos Film Festival takes place in March; the World Poetry Bout in June; the Solar Music Festival in July; the Fall Arts Festival in September; Mountain Film Festival and the Balloon Festival in October. Visit the Taos Pueblo the oldest continually occupied structure in North America with tours and several festivals open to the public. Pets are welcome. There is a $10 per night per pet fee, with a maximum of 2 pets.

PERFECT SPOT FOR A GETAWAY! A no-smoking, one bedroom retreat-like unit has tons of character. Stroll to the Plaza and restaurants. Enjoy the private patio off the bedroom or the lovely courtyard with calming fountain and many benches. Ideal for reading, thinking or meditation. Many guests have been "working from home with a different view"! One family dog (under 25#) is OK – and you must inquire in advance. The Clay Space is a studio apartment that was once used as an Art Studio. It is located behind Taos Clay in an urban area in El Prado along the main highway, 5 minutes North of the Taos Plaza. Easy access to the River and The Taos Ski Valley, the Gorge Bridge and hiking. Ever been to Orlando's New Mexican Cafe? This space is just a few buildings North on the same side of the road. The Taos Clay building in front has interior renovation going on - a farm store will be here in the Fall of 2024.

Perfect for one, pleasant squish for two. Two twin beds, one a trundle under the other. Full range, small fridge. Teas, coffee, basic condiments provided. Taos Ski Valley 45 minutes away, a 7 minute drive to the Plaza in town center. Well-behaved pets ok if you let me know.
