The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Fabulous place - we stayed for a week - with 2 teenagers, a preteen and our dog - great field opposite to run the dog morning and evening. Plenty of beautiful walks straight from the front door. 45 minutes to nearest place to eat out. Facilities were great - lots of swimming and football played by our kids. Thanks for a great stay.

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us (and our dog!). The area is stunning, very quiet with plenty of nice walks. The pool/games room area is shared with the other cottages, which wasn't made clear when booking. We thought it was part of our cottage, which we were slightly disappointed to find out this wasn't the case. However, overall we'd still consider staying here again!

Well what can I say… if I could give 100 stars I would! Phillipa was amazing. She was so helpful and supportive to me organising my sisters low key hen do here. We had the most amazing time - the perfect cottage. We made friends with lambs, soaked in the hot tub, chilled and ate pies at the red lion! We really felt at home and it was so so special. Phillipa added so many personal touches and we even got to meet one of her little doggies Stanley. Phillipa we WILL be back! Thank you!!!!

We had a great stay, lovely little house and we felt right at home. We had an issue with the tv and I messaged Katherine, she was quick to respond and offered to come over and fix it that day. Thankfully she wasn’t needed as we managed to sort it. We would definitely book again :)

So enjoyed our stay at the Old Wash House. Everything was perfect from location to cottage & hosts couldnt have been any more accommodating. So many special touches from the freshly baked warm bread hanging on our door in the morning to the fire lit for our arrival. We loved it all & def hope to return ❤️ 😍

Absolutely beautiful cottage and was made to feel at home. Perfect location for a relaxing few days, and the dog loved the secure garden. Cottage was homely inside and had all the necessary amenities, the milk and brownies were a lovely added touch. Will definitely return, cannot fault it. Sarah was also lovely and very friendly and helpful.

Had a lovely few days in Ashbourne. Bungalow lovely with a large sitting room/dining room with open plan kitchen. Large back garden that we were able to enjoy having had beautiful weather. 15 min walk into town down hill - but meant 15 min walk uphill - we caught a bus once. 😀

Great stay, we stayed here for a wedding and it was lovely. Easy to find onsite parking would recommend

A fantastic stay at Quince Cottage. It was spotlessly clean with luxurious bedding and a lovely comfy bed. In a great location and has everything you might need (and more) for your visit. Rebecca was really helpful and gave some great recommendations. 5 stars - highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Ed and Charlottes, the perfect spot to explore from. The cottage was spotless and exactly as listed with lovely scenery and stocked with the essentials for our stay we were even treated to a delicious bowl of fresh strawberries on our final morning. The place was easy to find and the prearrival instructions easy to follow and had really helpful information on local taxis and places to eat nearby perfect for our stay. Just beautiful. A tastefully renovated chapel with elegant furnishings and heaps of character. The well-equiped kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we had lots of fun with the board games and cards provided. Ashford is a picturesque village with great dining and drinking options. A perfect spot for our family reunion.

We had a lovely stay here with our three children. The house was ideally located for our visit to Alton Towers. The house was equipped with everything we needed and a perfect place for a family break. Sian gave us clear easy instructions so absolutely easy to access property. We also really liked Ashbourne which had lovely shops, restaurants, a beautiful park and everything was easily accessible from walking distance from the house.

We had a lovely stay at The Honey Pot, the village itself is very peaceful and sits quite high up so the views were amazing. Its location was great for what we wanted to do and has great pubs within a short drive. It is well maintained and kept very clean throughout and the hot tub is great for relaxing at the end of the day. Super comfy bed and pillows and has lovely diffusers spread around the house. Lydia was always on hand and responsive if we had any questions. Many thanks for hosting us! Joe and Carly x

a magical stay, that was just what we needed. we had lots of fun wild swimming, using the kayaks, BBQ and lots of lovely walks near by. Great for families or a romantic getaway. We feel we have found a very special place, and hope to come back soon to create more happy memories

Sunshine Cottage is a beautiful home. It was welcoming, cosy & exceptionally clean. Lovely views from the garden. We managed to park along the road near the Coop & it’s a short but fairly steep climb to the cottage. We had a brilliant few days with plenty of walking which is just what we were looking for. We've just spent a great week exploring and walking this part of the Peak District - staying at Peter's wonderful home Saunters in Darley Dale. Everything about Saunters is perfect - perfect location, quiet and peaceful with wonderful views across the countryside from the lounge and conservatory. Saunters provides a spacious and comfortable home in which to relax and unwind.
