What an amazing and tranquil place to stay, sit on porch, listen to the water and watch deer stroll through the yard. Very convenient to many of the surrounding areas and restaurants but we were content to just enjoy the peacefulness, read and relax. We ate at Smokehouse of Steve's and did some grocery shopping there and at the Saxapahaw General Store. This place to stay has the magic!

Jim’s place was awesome! We have stayed at several homes in the area over the past few years and his is definitely our most favorite. Perfect getaway for our family. The house had everything we needed and more. Very relaxing atmosphere. Jim was quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. Can’t wait to get back to Jim’s place ASAP!

Thank you so much for sharing your vacation rental with us. The cabin is very secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, sitting on the screened porch, and watching the wildlife (several deer came by to say hello). The hot tub was an added bonus (and clean). Our group thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful weekend away and highly recommend this property!

Lovely cabin home, matching decor, fully stocked, comfy mattresses, and great amenities. Felt private but was close to extracurricular activities we had planned (spa, winery, steakhouse). Enjoyed the hot tub and wanted to have smores at the firepit (compliments of the host!) but the windy weather made a fire unsafe. Maybe next time!

The cabin was perfect for our extended weekend stay. It was super easy to find and very private. The cabin was well stocked and had plenty of room for the two of us and our dog. Katie had tons of great recommendations on things to see/do and there is plenty of space around the property to get out and stretch your legs or run the dogs. 10/10 would stay again in a heartbeat.

The place was amazing booked it for my wifes bday and our anniversary the pictures do not compare at all the place looks even more amazing in person it was very clean it was very peaceful being there Ranin was very pleasant to deal with and communicated back and forth almost immediately with any questions or concerns i had the pool and hot tub couldve used a little cleaning but it was just opened for the season so im sure itll get the attention it needed overall the place was amazing i 100% plan on coming back to this place

Matt's place was absolutely beautiful. It was just as described and communication was excellent. There is so many amenities in the house. Great Coffee area, King bed was very comfortable. The property was beautiful and quite. House was clean. We loved staying there and would highly recommend and would stay there again.

Kathrine was amazing! There was a slight hiccup when checking in, which was not her fault, and she responded quickly and handled the issue immediately. The surroundings were peaceful and we loved staying there.

Peaceful, private and clean. Met expectations and then some. We really enjoyed ourselves, as did our dog, and appreciate hosts allowing our furry best friend to be with us. Beautiful field and natural surroundings. A lovely escape. Road noise is detectable as per the information, but did not detract from our experience. The sound of songbirds in the morning was heavenly. Saw a Carolina Wren sitting on five eggs in its nest. Excellent communication via messages and written and app instructions. Love the outdoor lights. Very impressed the owners are aware of nature’s need of darkness, so turned off outdoor lights when not in use (outdoor lights confuse migratory birds, for example) and felt safe. Hoping to return soon!

This was the most relaxing, peaceful and carefree weekend we have ever had. My husband and our 2 kids and 2 dogs had the most fun, and we didn’t even feel the need to be on our phones or watch tv! The cabin felt like home; so much so, that we didn’t want to leave. My husband and I are already planning a trip back. Carey was an amazing hostess and we are so appreciative that she opened her home to us. The views were breathtaking. We literally sat outside all weekend. We only went inside to cook and sleep. Oh! And we got to enjoy a meteor shower Saturday night! Super awesome!! And, even cooler, there’s a dollar general market at the end of the main road! Coolest thing I’ve ever seen! So you don’t need to bring a bunch of food! We drove 5 hours to come stay here, and honestly, I would drive 10 just to come back. This cabin was every bit of home and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful details. The only issue was that the dishwasher wasn’t working, but overall, it was a perfect spot just minutes away from Hanging Rock. The fire pit was perfect for relaxing at night, and the views were spectacular! We hope to come back soon!

Sitting within the peaceful hills right outside of Pilot Mountain, this cabin immediately stole my heart. The home was charming, clean, and very easy to settle into. The hosts were accommodating and friendly, which made the experience that much more pleasant. A Squirrels Paradise really made me feel at home, I never wanted to leave!

We absolutely loved our stay! Felt very safe, very clean and we were even able to check in early.

Southern C’s was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Scott greeted us upon arrival and introduced us to the property. He was super personable and nice to talk to and was available throughout our entire stay if we needed him. The cabin itself was so unique and antique but with the necessary modern comforts. Our senior dog did struggle at first with the stairs but we carried her up for bedtime at night and eventually she figured them out on her own; they are just steep and widely spaced. It can be a little warm upstairs for a hot sleeper like myself at night but with the fan it cooled off well enough. Highly recommend taking some time to walk around the property and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The horses boarded there as well as the owners horse are incredibly beautiful and well taken care of. If you ask, Scott will introduce you to some. We plan to return here for another trip.

This was our second stay. Jennifer and David are amazing hosts and have thought of everything. It’s such a wonderful cabin to relax in after long hikes. Hope to return again!

Looking for a comfortable stay while sipping your way through the Yadkinville wine country? This is it! Super cute and easy drive from Elkin and convenient to a number of wineries in the area. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the back screened-in porch and appreciated the cleanliness, welcome notebook with restaurant suggestions, and easy check-in and check-out. Definitely will be back!

Beautifully built cabin tucked away in the woods. The couple that rent the place live just down the road and are amazing hosts. The cabin itself is separate from any other buildings by about a 1/4 mile, quiet with plenty of privacy. The cabin has good WiFi and modern amenities, but truly feels like you are out in nature. It took me about 20-30 minutes to drive to chapel hill. There is a also a restaurant and bar, both less than 5 minutes away.

We loved the place! The place was amazing and felt cozy! Beautiful outdoor view and great landscape! I also want to shoutout the amount of space the place had, it was able to accommodate my party comfortably!

Mya was extremely responsive and helpful! Beautiful house, the best stocked place I’ve ever stayed in. It really felt like home.

The Carolina Frost Cabin was a wonderful place to stay to visit family in the area. Clean and cozy and comfortable. Our host was very helpful & friendly. Great restaurants walking distance from cabin. We look forward to staying at the cabin again. :) Mike & Janis J.

10/10 would absolutely recommend! Super cozy for a girl's weekend. The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and private. We loved hanging down by the pond and walking through the woods. Inside is comfy and cozy. I had trouble opening the door when I first got there and Daniel was super responsive, calling within seconds to help me. Of course I was able to get it open right as he answered. The place is perfect and my 5 star review is accurate, we would absolutely stay again - but just a heads up the owners are offering a free return night in exchange for a 5 star review, which may bias some reviews.

Bretta’s place was exactly what we were looking for! Peaceful, clean, comfortable. She has gone out of her way to ensure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need. If you’re coming to Salisbury and her place is available, I highly recommend it!

Cabin was great! Beautiful on the inside and located in a very peaceful quiet area. Barrel sauna and fireplace were very nice and enjoyable additions. Host was extremely responsive and helpful.
