Wonderful little house and brilliant host! Our stay was perfect from start to finish - Chantal has equipped the cottage with everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) one could possibly need and is the MOST thoughtful and accommodating host one could ask for. The bed is super comfy, the house temperature perfect (but easy to adjust) and there’s even a bottle of Prosecco waiting for you upon your arrival. I couldn’t think of a negative even if I tried - it’s superb☺️

lovely stone annexe to Penny's house, in the pretty village of Carperby which is on a minor road so only local traffic. Very well appointed, all neat and clean. Penny is a great hostess and I really enjoyed my stay there. Thoroughly recommend.

Amazing Barn! Location was brilliant, couldn’t have asked for anything better! Everything inside was wonderful including the spiral staircase up to the bedrooms. We will definitely come again when we stay in the dales in future

great location, 3 pubs, bakery and shop. lots of local walks. accommodation was well equipped, lots of board games for rainy afternoons. would definitely use again.
