Cottage of 100 sqm on the peninsula Stångehamn. Located 7 km south of Oskarshamn city center, in a safe summer cottage area. Private jetty in a quiet bay, a stone's throw from the outer archipelago. Several swimming areas nearby. It's 70 meters to the boat and the dock that belongs to the cottage. Ask the host if you are interested in using it during your stay. Rowing boat, canoe and bicycles are included in the rental. Motor for boat can be rented for SEK 100 per day + gasoline. Bed linens and towels can be rented for SEK 100 per guest. Note: no Wi-Fi

Welcome to Torestorps Drängstuga - an ancient house in the heart of Småland! Here, real fairy tales, heroes, love, hard work and celebration live in the walls. The house is about 100 m2 in two levels and is located a stone's throw from a larger farm building in the middle of the countryside in the Småland forests. You can get to Kalmar and Öland in 30-60 minutes and to Nybro to shop in ten. There are duvets, a wood-burning stove, a sauna in the woods and the cat Doris will be happy to stay with you if you want company.

The house has one bedroom with two beds, a loft with a 140 cm mattress, a fully tiled bathroom with shower and toilet, a living room combined with a kitchenette & dining area. In the cabin there is a smart TV and Wi-Fi, a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, induction cooktop, charcoal grill, etc., everything to be able to stay for a long time. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. Access to own dock and rowboat by the Baltic Sea. See the forest and lake from the kitchen windows. The Ostkustleden passes by outside. To get here, you need a car. Parking for several cars. Our water in the well is our own well so the taste can vary if it is dry or wet on the hillside. A little browner some days which makes the shower and sink and toilet look a little brown. The water is, of course, drinkable. When charging an electric car, contact me.

Swimming facilities are available. 2 km to Gränsö nature reserve with nice hiking trails, 3 km to Västervik city center. 1 km to Ekhagen golf course. Suitable for two or max three people. It is nice to dock by boat at our jetty if you want to bring a boat. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we would like them to sleep in their own bed.

Pillows, blankets, bed linens and towels are included in the price. Of course, there are TV, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers. Bicycles are available to borrow, it is only about 10 minutes to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the city center. PLEASE NOTE: The house has been expanded in 2025 to add a proper bedroom.

The area is called Dragskär. The "island" is connected to the mainland via a small natural pier and short bridge. Road goes all the way to the house. Here starts the marvellous east coast archipelago. From the big 20 sqm sun lounge/patio you have a direct splendid view of a small bay in the Baltic sea.
