Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Austria

We were there as early as 2022. We liked it so much that we booked there again now. The small apartment is quiet, bright, even with balcony. The kitchen is well equipped. Carolina and Alois are very friendly people and very helpful and straightforward. We will be back!!!

Amazing clean spacious modern house next to some vineyards in open clean wild but well kept garden on top of a hill overlooking the sudsteiermark hills.. if you want a base to explore the regio and have some peace and quiet, dont look further. Brigita made sure to accomodate every question or requirement

We had a wonderful time at Karin's accommodation. Karins parents welcomed us very lovingly, with an extra game basket for our 18-month-old daughter, tips for the area and just a nice conversation. The accommodation is quietly located on the upper floor - you have your privacy and everything your heart desires. The garden was also great. We will be happy to come back.

The house of Anita and Mathias is very beautiful, we had the fire lit and it gave a very cozy and homely atmosphere. The house is very well remodeled, the bathroom and kitchen are almost new and everything you need for a short stay. Also the surrounding is very nice and quiet, full of green and nature, we did many activities every day like; walking, going to the wildpark, spa, etc. They provided us with a very useful pdf with lots of tips for things to see and do in the surrounding area. Anita and Mathias live next door to the cabin, were always reachable and very helpful when we needed something. Happy to go again for a longer time:) highly recommended.

We had a great time in a wonderful house. With the equipment of children's attractions and toys, it is like a paradise for children. This way, you can easily survive rainy days. Eike and Verena are very great hosts, lots of good tips and always great communication. Many things are simply available and Verena and Eike think well about what you might need. All around a successful stay for us. Thank you for that!

Fantastic stay right on Lake Mattsee – highly recommended! We were very lucky to spend a few days in this beautiful house on Lake Mattsee, and it was just fantastic. The location is unbeatable – right on the lake with breathtaking views that delight every morning. The place was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and superbly appointed so we didn't miss anything. Herbert welcomed us warmly and was an attentive, friendly host who was always available for questions. Thank you, Herbert, for this unforgettable holiday! We will be happy to come back.

A fantastic retreat surrounded by nature! The chalet is furnished with a lot of love for detail and exudes a wonderfully cozy atmosphere – we immediately felt comfortable. The sauna with the fantastic view is the perfect place to relax and was our highlight. We highly recommend the regional Carinthian noodles, which can be ordered directly from Teresa. The smoked trout is just as delicious! Despite rainy weather, we were able to slow down wonderfully, or because of it. The view of the foggy mountains was breathtaking. Teresa is a warm host – we will definitely be back! ❤️

A very nice and cozy place to stay in an amazing landscape in the middle of the mountains. The place has everything you need. The location is at the top of a slope, with wonderful views. You are also right on the edge of the forest and can enjoy nature. Very nice terrace with a view. The box spring bed is incredibly soft and cozy. It was a very great stay! Thank you. 😊

wow, what more can you say about this place. it is in the most beautiful location, hidden in the valley with wonderful views either side. Franz and family were lovely and accommodating, really helpful before arrival, and during my stay. I was working remotely for a few days, so did not get to enjoy the local bars and restaurants, but there was a very convenient large supermarket at the bottom of the road. Despite the wet weather, I went on runs and hikes in the area, crossing over the border into Germany, and the surroundings are beautiful. There also appears to be a very reasonable priced swimming pool nearby which i wish i was able to make the most of. Travel on the 180 bus from Salzburg Hbf was also very easy. Being able to enjoy the terrace come rain or sun made the whole stay very peaceful and enjoyable. there is a small kitchen to make some meals, the bedroom and living space is well equipped, and the private bathroom is also very good. Thanks very much to Franz and family!

All I can say is WOW! From the moment we turned into the driveway we knew we made a good choice! This home was wonderful. We had everything we needed, it was a short drive or walk into town, and it was central to most everything we wanted to do! There were also so many options of things to do in Werfenweng as well! We didn’t have much time to explore the area itself, but you could make a vacation of that alone!

Perfect for unwinding in the nature! We had a great time in the wellness oasis! Everything was very clean and lovingly prepared, you can immediately tell that work is done here with heart and care. Angela was extremely friendly, helpful and at the same time pleasantly reserved, which made the stay particularly relaxing. Special highlights are the whirlpool and the sauna, perfect for switching off. In the sauna, it would have been nice to have different oils for infusions or to be able to buy them in the enjoyment oasis :) Otherwise, the location is ideal for those seeking peace, nature and relaxation - perfect for switching off from everyday life. Whether you're walking, reading, or simply looking out into the countryside, this is where you can truly relax. We would come back anytime – a clear recommendation!

We stayed with Tanya for 1 week and felt very comfortable! The apartment is superbly equipped, we got freshly baked bread and Tanya was always available! You can look at the lake from the terrace and hikes are possible directly from the apartment and it is also only a short walk to the lake. We can 100% recommend the apartment! Great area with lots of options for hiking, biking and eating out! We recommend the Gasthof Rieder in Fischl, a great tip from Tanya, here is an amazing Wiener Schnitzel! I'm sure we'll be back!

Our expectations were met. Small but practically furnished accommodation. Perfect if you're on the road most of the time anyway. The parking lot right outside the door was perfect. The bathroom is located across the hall, but super equipped and clean. The street was a bit noisy with the window open and the apartment was already warm in hot temperatures. But neither was a problem for us. The bus runs directly in front of the door with connections to Salzburg city center and the Unterbergbahn.

I had an amazing stay with Peter. His home is absolutely beautiful, close to a bus stop, restaurants, and within walking distance to old town. Peter was very kind and lovely to talk to. I had an excellent time in salzburg and would definitely recommend staying here!

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

A truly excellent find. The accommodation is very well equipped and comfortable with amazing views and sunsets it is easy to understand why our hosts feel privileged to live there. Indeed our hosts were remarkably generous, kind and helpful and gave us great ideas on what to do. If we are lucky enough to return to the area we know where we would like to stay. The apartment is idyllically located in a top condition and has a beautiful balcony overlooking the Traunstein. It is about 45 minutes on foot to the nearest town and about 20 minutes to the nearest swimming area. If you want to be flexible, a car is recommended or for sporty people bicycles or e-bikes. In the apartment, you can relax well, enjoy the beautiful view and tranquility and relax well. Your hostess is very kind and relaxed and can give you good tips for activities. We had a nice week at Susanne's

Great place and amazing view of the Austrian mountains.

When we arrived at the place, we were impressed by the beautiful surrounding landscape. The check-in process is well described and was conquered on the first try. The apartment breathed a piece of home on us and was a great starting point for all-day hiking trips. The apartment has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and tops of the Alps, the sunrise here is captivating. We didn't want to leave. Thank you 😉👍

The apartment is well located for both hiking in the surrounding area and access into Innsbruck. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The private outdoor terrace had tremendous views and was south facing yet still secluded. Small, well appointed supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Overall I would highly recommend.
