Im Sommer ist das Gebiet vor allem bei Bergliebhabern für kurze bis längere Wandertouren angesagt. Innsbruck ist 20 Autominuten entfernt, aber auch mit Öffis gut erreichbar. Bushaltestelle „Axams Apotheke/M-Preis“ 12 Min. entfernt. Parkplatz auf Anfrage verfügbar.
