Welcome to our family-friendly apartment for 3-4 people. It is located 200 m from the edge of the forest and is the ideal starting point for hiking or cycling tours to "Kroppacher Schweiz" and with connection (1 km) to the Westerwaldsteig. Two playgrounds are not far away and there is much to discover, e.g. Hachenburg with the historic market square, the Marienstatt Abbey with monastery garden & brewery, the Westerwald Lakes District, Bad Marienberg with climbing and animal park.

Our half-timbered house, completely renovated in 2020, is part of a larger half-timbered ensemble. It combines historic flair with a modern ambiance. The overall high-quality facilities leave nothing to be desired. Our village of Geilhausen is scenically nestled on the upper Sieg and has its own train connection. The banks of the Sieg, the forests and heights of the Westerwald and the Bergisches Land invite you to hike and cycle via the Sieg and Westerwald nature trails.

Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Our apartment is located directly on the forest in the beautiful landscape of the WESTERWALD. Close to Obererbach lies the excellent WESTERWALD STEIG and other charming hiking, cycling and motorcycle trails, ideal for day trips. Our village Obererbach belongs to the district Altenkirchen. The Obererbach railway connection (one stop to the centre) is within walking distance of the village. You can reach the nearest shopping facilities in about 3.5 km by car.

There is nothing here but plenty of nature ! For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb ( 20 sqm with private bathroom), but it's also great to just spend a weekend. You need a car here! It is 8 minutes to the next bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as to shopping facilities Edeka/ Penny 8 minutes, nearest Lidl /Aldi / Rewe/ DM 12 minutes Bonn 45 -60 min Cologne Bonn Airport 45 min Cologne 1h-1.5h

If you stay at this centrally located home, your family has all the important points of contact nearby, as well as shopping, doctors, pharmacies, etc. are within walking distance. Very spacious rooms allow quiet private ferry to switch off and recharge. For nature lovers, there are hiking trails and cycling trails. Relax in this special and quiet space. In our small mobile home, you have your peace and seclusion. It is located near our farm, the bathroom is on the courtyard grounds (about 80m away). Only for guests who love nature and some camping ambiance! Feel free to bring your dog and/ or your horse. The open stable is nearby and the walk of the horses to the meadow leads past the mobile home.
