Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. As a trained hotel manager, I am particularly passionate about helping people rediscover the small and great beauties of life: by spending time with themselves, with their family, or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: Our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, and pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

If you are looking for peace, you will find it here! Our modern vacation home (85 m²) is located on the outer edge of the idyllic NRW gold village of Benroth, in the middle of the Bergisches Land (about 50 km east of Cologne). Surrounded by forest and meadow, nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, mushroom and berry pickers will get their money's worth. An inspirational space for creative people! In all four seasons, the location offers a diverse range of activities and excursion destinations. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Fantastic log cabin on the Rhine

In a quiet location with a beautiful view of the Rhine, the log cabin is located right next to the edge of the forest. With 130 m², there is enough space in a 3-room apartment and it offers a pleasant atmosphere with a fireplace. You can explore castles via hiking trails or by boat trips in the Middle Rhine Valley, which is known for the UNESCO World Heritage. All shops, supermarkets (REWE, Lidl), restaurants as well as tourist attractions and boat docks are easily reached on foot.

Time out from everyday life in our historic accommodation. Idyllic secluded location on the edge of the forest. A car is needed as there is no connection to public transport. Wiehl center is about 3 km away with various shops, bakeries and restaurants. Heating is provided by radiators connected to our heat pump, which is powered by green electricity. EIFEL QUARTIER year 1846

The EIFEL QUARTIER anno 1846 is part of an ensemble of several historic natural stone buildings that have been lovingly restored and give discerning guests a great natural experience right in the heart of the Eifel without having to sacrifice relaxed luxury. The EIFEL QUARTIER is a very individual, original accommodation with a modern pellet stove. It covers two floors and has an electric charging station. Here, pure living has been transferred to the modern age.

The cozy detached house Tropica (72 square meters) invites you to switch off and linger. In addition to a high-quality kitchen, it is characterized by its attention to detail. There is a sofa bed, so 2 children are welcome. The garden supports the comfort with a heated hot tub, the barbecue area with a Weber grill and the 85 sqm play-fun fitness center with training equipment and entertainment. Vacation, trade fair, business travel, small photo shoot, weekend vacation... Do you like the other, special? Then we're on the same wavelength. The completely renovated Degenfabrik offers you an ambience that makes time run a little slower. Parking is available, 10 to 15 minutes to the city, various restaurants and shops, regional train connection. The sports facility is behind the house. In the same building we run an art gallery, which can be viewed.

Here you can stay in a small detached house with 1000 sqm fenced property and distant views over the Ober-Bergisches Land. The cottage is furnished in vintage style and has a fireplace in addition to electric heating. A kitchen newly built in 2022 with fridge, dishwasher, induction, oven, and everything else you might need, outdoor grill, covered terrace. Towels and bowls are available for dogs. Hiking from the house is possible for hours.

Relaxen am Wald

A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.
