Monthly Rentals in Balla

To be honest, I am rather reluctant to write this review. Why? Because I hope that only a few people might find out about this idyllic place otherwise it will likely be booked up the whole year through. But then that would not be fair to our very gracious hosts Joanne and Cathal. The apartment is resplendent, pristine and bright - with everything you might hope to find provided in a self-catering setting, and more besides.. We lacked nothing. Big screen smart TV, two separate bathrooms - one with a bath which I was sure to use after my Croagh Patrick ascent and descent, even a Salon level hair-dryer was provided. Two huge beds in an impressively spacious studio space upstairs. A well lit and spacious kitchen making meal preparation a joy with no lack of accessories provided. A large living-TV room with an expansive luxurious settee. But the quiet, the stillness and the closeness to nature cannot be overstated. As a retreat setting it is quite perfect and only 15 mins from Knock Shrine.

Had a lovely stay. Marian was an attentive host and was always available if needed but not intrusive. She gave us several recommendations for places to eat. She also provided us with some food items and her banana bread was worth waiting for. The accommodation is behind her own property which made it feel more safe and secure.

An incredible place to stay with beautiful views and in a brilliant location - lots of different things within driving distance, and Steph was so helpful with recommendations! We had a really lovely time!

the house was very clean and well mentioned. ita close to Tesco store. our welcome was very well and check in was very smooth. Martina is very good host and an amazing house owner. would recommend to all who love to spend time away from crowd but close to nature.
