Sea-Renity Cottage on The Cliff

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at Jean’s Airbnb was truly unforgettable, filled with warmth and tranquility. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality and the serene beauty of the surroundings. The property was a peaceful haven, offering the perfect escape from the daily grind. What truly made our stay special were the thoughtful touches, like the lovely bottle of wine, wheaten bread and biscuits waiting for us upon arrival, and the ample supply of wood for the the outdoor firepit. Jean's excellent communication made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we wholeheartedly recommend Jean’s Airbnb.

Abbeyglen Castle Hotel Economy Room

EllenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Staying at Abbyglen was a magical experience. Brian and the staff made me feel very welcome and everyone was super friendly. I had a wonderful meal at the restaurant and breakfast was a treat every morning. The prosecco reception added an extra something that made my stay even better. Even though I was travelling solo, I never felt alone. Walking distance from Clifden center, easy bus connections to Connemara National Park. Rented a bike and cycled the Sky Road. The room is very comfortable, with a beautiful ensuite bathroom. Don't forget to have a drink at the piano bar in the evening, and enjoy the live music and amazing atmosphere!

Clifden Farmhouse - Room only (1)

AlexisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If I could give 100 stars I would. Mary is the sweetest woman I have ever met and her bnb is just as lovely. The rooms are fantastic; clean, bathroom en suite, and tea/coffee. The breakfast she provides was easily my favorite thing about the farmhouse, other than the cheerful company😁. Mary is a wonderful local guide and we loved hearing about her childhood in Ireland. If you get the opportunity to stay here, you should consider yourself very lucky. Thank you Mary!

Twelve Bens View

JimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Catherine went all out to make sure I had a great stay, everything from recommending sights, offering a cup of tea after a long day's walk, to lighting a fire in the guest living room so I could relax by the fire. A great stay.

Leap Year Cottage by Lake Beaghcauneen

DianaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The accommodation was exactly as described and in a beautiful location. It felt very remote but is only 15 mins from the coast and supermarkets in Clifden. The two extra rooms in outbuildings worked well for us as 5 adults, and there was plenty of room around the kitchen table for meals and games. The sitting room in the cottage is very cosy and only had enough room for 4 people to sit comfortably which wouldn't be ideal if you were a group of 8. That said, there are other sofas elsewhere - in the kitchen and studio. Overall, a unique property in a wonderful location which I would definitely recommend.

Calla Sea View Chalet

RobertoRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had an excellent stay at Seaview chalet. Teresa (host) was extremely helpful with many suggestions for places to visit close to the property and nearby (all good). The beach is a lovely 5-10min walk, with excellent views. The kitchen is well equipped, and the main bedroom is roomy and with great views of the sea and lake (nice en-suite). Teresa and Peter were very helpful in helping me deal with car issues, and arranged a local garage to bring/replace one of my tyres. They both made us feel very welcome. We recommend this property most highly. It is my partner’s first time in Ireland and so made our stay the more enjoyable.

We felt at home immediately. Such a beautifully decorated house. The breakfast was formidable with a nice view. Frédérique is a lovely host and gave us the best recommendations.
