Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Spotlessly clean and bright. Very well equipped modern kitchen. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms and a sunny conservatory for dining in. Our host Helen welcomed us and a gorgeous cream tea awaited us, together with homemade scones, jam and bread. Milk, butter and eggs also provided. Such attention to detail. The garden is pretty and dog safe. Helen even provided dog bowls and towels and a treat! We would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

Such a beautiful little place, Sally provided everything you could need. She was so responsive and gave recommendations for restaurants and pubs. Made our stay so easy and a seamless check in/out. Thanks Sally!!

Lesley’s place was perfect for our needs. It was peaceful and it was close to all of the things we wanted to do in the area. The cottage was clean, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook and eat in. It was a bit of a climb to get to the entrance and it was two floors, so anyone with mobility issues should look at that. However, we had a great stay in a very beautiful part of the UK.

The perfect child friendly sanctuary. Loads of things to do for kids within a 30 min drive. Loved the animal feeding each morning, Andy was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Cannot wait to return.

Spent a lovely relaxing few days away in the cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and more and the welcome gifts were a lovely surprise. Lovely shower and such a quiet location. Tim was very responsive and helpful. It was a home from home 😁.

Great Croyde village location. Right opposite one of the three pubs in the village and 15 mins gentle walk to the beach. We stayed with our young baby, although Karen didn’t have a travel cot there was plenty of room in the spacious bedroom for ours. We loved the big TV which was great for evening movies. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, we especially loved the selection of mugs ( big sizes and lots of lovely hand thrown designs). At the back of the footage there is a l small space for boards and wetsuits. We felt instantly at home and even got chatting to our neighbours in The Thatch one evening.

This was the second time we stayed at this cottage as we had such a positive experience the first time. It is perfect for us as a couple with one small dog and the garden is completely secure. Would recommend parking on the Caen Street car park for peace of mind £6 all day and it is a short walk over the bridge to the cottage. The dog got an early walk to feed the meter at 9. Great location to all local beaches but Saunton best for all year round dog access. Lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance so no worries about drinking and driving. Will be booking again for next year. Thanks Rich for good communication.

Wetlands Cottage is the perfect place if you want to escape. It is in a very peaceful village. The only things you hear are the birds and the church bells. We drove to reach all of the places we wanted to get to but there is a bus stop very close to the property. Cheryl is a wonderful host. She met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the property. She also gave us some recommendations of what we could do whilst we were there. The property is clean, tidy and spacious. We highly recommend Wedlands Cottage and hope to return in the near future.

Lovely well equipped little barn conversion in a very peaceful location, and ideally situated for exploring North Devon. Mary and John were very friendly and the enclosed field was ideal for exercising our dog. A very enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Pilton Quay. Great communication from hosts Charlotte and Eoin before our stay so it was super easy to find and check-in. It was clean and spacious with everything provided that was described on the website. The cottage was close to the town yet it was on a fairly quiet road. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone. We are a family of 4 and it suited us perfectly. Thank you Charlotte and Eoin for a lovely stay 🙂

The cottage has a lot of charm and character. It was peaceful, with only slight occasional road noise when in the garden. The kitchen layout worked well and the Smeg Range was a joy to use. Bedrooms we a good size and the internal decoration and attention to detail was very good. Our first time in an Airbnb, so we found the £120 cleaning charge a little high, but we now understand this is common practice. We would definitely stay there again, as we greatly enjoyed the surrounding area and it's a pleasant and quite short walk into Barnstaple town centre.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Dom and Sue have clearly put a lot of thought into the details – the guidebook was incredibly informative and helpful. We especially appreciated the peaceful location, the lovely back garden, and the swing – such a relaxing spot. A special highlight was getting the chance to visit Sue’s beautiful studio and gallery at the back of the garden – truly inspiring! As a family travelling with a baby, we were grateful for the provided travel cot, sheets, and high chair, which made our stay so much easier. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

The cottage was simply great and communication with Richard was fantastic. We had no problem at all checking in and out. The house was very clean and well-equipped. If you have a car, it is a very good location and you can explore Devon easily from there. The village is small, but lovely and very quiet. Perfect to rest after a day out and about. We are a family of four (two adults and two teenagers and the space was great for us. We highly recommend this place.

Stayed here before as we regularly visit family in the area. So have come back for the third time. Lovely and comfortable cottage well fitted out. Has the cosy higgledy piggledy low ceiling charm with a wood stove, but modern decor for a nice mix. Keeps lovely and warm (have to turn down radiators upstairs!) Great pub round the corner in an otherwise small village well located just beyond Barnstaple. Lots of reviews mention the parking. It is a little bit faffy and not ideal if you're not a confident driver, due to being elevated above the house so you park round a corner on a steep hill onto a grassed drive. You then walk back round and it can be a touch muddy to avoid the direct but steep narrow steps down to the house. All said and done it is fine if you are a confident driver and not far to walk round at all. We're perfectly happy with it and hence coming back!

I had a lovely stay in the stables. The place is cute and cost, perfect for 1-2 people. I was pre warned about the access path getting a little muddy, but it wasn’t too bad on this occasion. Owners were helpful

This was our first air b&b We loved our stay at Claire’s pet-friendly annex, It was so nice to find a place that welcomed our dogs. The rural location perfect for morning walks. The setting was incredibly tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The annex was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. The welcome goodies (scones, jam and clotted cream, milk, tea and coffee, even some treats for the dogs ) were a lovely touch and were thoroughly enjoyed. A real cozy home from home. Had everything we needed. It was a perfect base for us to visit the beach, friends and family. Highly recommended. We would definitely return. Thank you Claire and David

This is such and idyllic and gorgeous cottage with a beautiful garden and view. It’s only 15 mins drive from Combe Martin and various attractions. Perfect for a peaceful stay.
