Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bath and North East Somerset

This was my first time ever visiting Bath and Penny Cottage was the perfect home away from home. Everything was clean, Ruby left great recommendations for things to do and was always very responsive. Everything is clean and updated. The cottage is located in an incredibly convenient location, just a half a mile from all of Bath’s major attractions and restaurants. We really had a wonderful stay and I do hope to come back to Penny Cottage in the future!

Nice place to stay, rural area, lovely views. The place is spacious, well equipped. Nice fitness area. There’s a parking space close to the entrance and also electric charging available.

A great house in a very central location. So convenient for everything. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

A fantastic stay! The Dove Cote was stunning, looked exactly like the pictures and was spotless. The directions were clear and the property was easy to find with a very smooth self check-in process. We enjoyed walks around the farm and into Saltford - definitely recommend The Bird for a pub dinner and The Little Coffee Shop for a coffee. We absolutely loved our stay, it was the perfect few days away in the most peaceful location. Would definitely book again!

Absolutely fantastic location, Bath a 10 minute walk and the lovely Widcombe village less than 5, everything you need on the doorstep, we didn’t use the car once in four days, perfect. Pollyanna was super helpful and really responsive, highly recommended. Morning coffee from The Colombian Company in the village a must ☕️❤️

We had a fantastic stay at theWrens nest, 9 minute walk to our daughters house so for us an amazing location. Very well equipped with everything that was required of short stay. Very quick to respond with an email too. Very quiet and relaxing. Thank you for great stay. we will be back. Kind Regards Andy and Chris

Lovely midterrace property made from traditional Bath stone with lots of character. It is in a generally quiet neighbourhood within short driving distance of Bath city centre. Parking is on street outside the property. The road can be busy at times so guests with younger children will need to be alert when loading/unloading.

We stayed at Andrew's place for a week whilst visiting Bath for a family wedding and we were delighted with this wonderful home. The house was immaculate, with stunning panaromic views over Bath and we had a fabulous time as a family sitting out and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. Andrew provided everything we needed for a great stay, including guides for the local area and all the amenities we needed for a week stay. The house is a wonderful space for larger families like ours to stay in. Check in was seamless and we couldn't have asked for a more helpful and friendly host! We would love to stay here again in the future when we visit our family in Bath, thank you for making my sister's wedding week such a fabulous experience!

Our second stay, so clean and comfortable, had everything we needed and appreciated the extra treats. Unobtrusive host but knew they were there if needed, which we liked.

Lovely place in a lovely area! Very clean throughout and had everything we needed. It was just a 15 minute walk to the centre of bath so lactation was also perfect! Would love to stay again! Great communication aswell

Rebecca’s place was one of my best AirB&B experiences ever! The apartment (flat) was in a perfect location near everything. It was spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, well-appointed, and with lovely views. Rebecca (Bex) was extremely friendly and took a great interest in our comfort and well-being. Thank you, Bex, for a great stay!

Margaret was a very responsive and helpful host, and very flexible. The place was ideally located for us, a short walk from Larkhall village and walking distance into central Bath. Her instructions were super clear to follow and the off-street parking space a bonus.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Rebecca’s place in Bath. It immediately felt like a home from home with a really welcoming cosy feel to the place. The interiors are beautiful and if you love art you’ll love relaxing in the 2 lounge areas. We are a family of 4 and it was the perfect size for us. Great location, walkable to everywhere and we even got a takeout one evening from the local Indian a few doors down and it was excellent! Would highly recommend as a base to explore Bath if you love period properties and character.

This was my second trip to this Airbnb as it’s the perfect place to stay during a trip to Bath! Easily walkable to the town centre, and it has everything you need. The hosts were brilliant and allowed us to check in early too so we didn’t have to carry our bags around all day on the first day. I really recommend this lovely little Airbnb!

So close to a lot of what makes Bath tic, while being surprisingly close to the train and bus stations. The courtyard was a generous and quiet spot to rest, plan, meet with other people staying at the property, who were all wonderful. The younger folk visiting the UK took it upon themselves to assist the grey-haired of us with luggage unbidden. We couldn't resist walking long stretches in this very walkable city and found "The Oven" restaurant nearby which we returned to for late lunch, as well as "Pastel" for their yogurt and granola breakfast. The bed was super-comfortable and the layout of the apartment in this historic property left nothing to be desired for a week's stay.

This is one of the best Air Bnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning studio apartment with a spectacular view. The location was a few minutes away from the main areas (the Roman Baths, shopping, restaurants.) I would definitely recommend for any couple or even solo travellers.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for 2 weeks, and it was wonderful! The apartment is very pretty and clean, located in a pretty area too, and it had everything we needed and more (even detergent, aluminium foil, olive oil... all the little things you don't think of but that make a difference!). The location is fantastic, a minute from the Abbey and the giant plane tree, restaurants, the Roman Bath, shopping, everything! Of course being so close in the city centre means that you will hear the party goers on a Friday or Saturday night, but even so we would book this place again. The hosts are very responsive, friendly, flexible, accommodating - we received an extra duvet a few hours after our request, really sweet. And it's right across from the Sally Lunn house, Bath's oldest house with a great menu and these wonderfully tasty Sally Lunn buns!

Really beautiful little apartment in Bath, and a great location for getting in and out of town on foot. I would suggest that light sleepers might struggle with the roadside bedroom, but otherwise we had a super stay. Very easy access and excellent communication from hosts.

I have never stayed in such an elegantly decorated Airbnb apartment. Hugo and family have gone to great lengths to curate an amazingly beautiful and eclectic collection of art on the walls, which seems quite fitting for the historic location. This was a very comfortable place to stay, near to town and parks. There is no street parking nearby, so loading in and out needs to be handled strategically, but there’s a good long-term lot, about a ten minute walk away. Since the building is well over two hundred years old, you might notice some mustiness. In all, however, the plusses completely outweigh any minuses, and our family much enjoyed staying in this apartment.

We had a lovely stay at Holly's place! The room met our needs, had a beautiful garden and friendly animals. The shower was excellent and had everything we needed for our short stay.

I had a short stay here while collecting my son from university. From the moment of booking, Matt was incredibly friendly and helpful—quick to respond to my (many!) questions, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. I was genuinely impressed with the flat: it was spotless, beautifully decorated, peaceful, and calm. The view over Bath as you walk through to the bedroom is simply stunning! I couldn't believe my luck with the location—easily walkable to the city centre and with the rare bonus of an off-road parking space, which is a huge plus in Bath. I absolutely intend to stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend it to friends and family.

Great location, easy walking distance of the city centre which has numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. The flat is spacious and clean. We were able to park easily - I was little concerned as it is resident zone parking, but it was no problem. The canal is also within easy walking distance (although uphill!) and makes for a very enjoyable stroll! The TV is internet rather than terrestrial which we'd not come across before and Steve was very helpful in resolving a connection issue and showing us how it worked. Great stay.
