The Summerhouse Tower is a very special holiday-home-for-two set within the rolling Shropshire countryside. A Grade II listed tower, this unique, romantic retreat enjoys excellent views to the east, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the south and the west. The Tower, built circa 1607, was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining dinner guests. Whilst the main house was destroyed by a fire, The Summer House is available for cosy stays throughout the year.

There are no shared spaces. The accommodation is in a separate building from the main guest house. The Attic is cosy yet very spacious accommodation. Set just off Abbey Foregate. 5 minutes walk to the Abbey, English Bridge and Wyle Cop. 8 minute walk to Train Station, the Castle and Prison. Access to River Severn walks and the weir just 2 minutes away through the lovely Castlefields Park directly opposite. We can provide contactless entry and exit to suit.

Perfect getaway for 2 adults, onsite parking with local amenities on your doorstep. Walking distance to food pubs, retail park, supermarkets and local buses into and out of shrewsbury town centre. Safe and quiet area. Hosts live onsite and can help with any of your needs and requirements, but privacy for you is our priority. The annexe is very newly renovated and fully insulated. It is not child proof, we are only willing to accept adult guests.
