Cottage holiday rentals in Bayeux

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Michel et Martine, ils sont adorables , toujours prêts à rendre service ou aider , la maison était impeccable, la cuisine entièrement équipée, tout est neuf. Le spa était un pur bonheur pour se détendre après une journée de visites, le jardin clos , idéal pour notre petit chien. Je recommande vivement le logement de Michel et Martine. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation. Elisabeth.

Nous avons passé un super week-end chez Virginie, les enfants ont profité de la nature, nous avons pu pêcher et faire une pause dans l'agitation de la ville, Merci, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Top verblijf, schoon, goede uitrusting, comfortabel. Fijne buitenruimte en zwembad. Enige minpuntje is dat trap naar eerste en tweede verdieping niet geschikt is voor kleine kinderen en minder validen. Edouard gaf aan deze eerdaags te gaan vervangen.

Agnès s'est montrée très attentive et réactive à mes sollicitations. Elle a fait preuve de gentillesse et courtoisie. Son logement est idéalement situé pour rayonner sur la côte, entre St Vaast et St mère l'église.

Un cottage d’une grande beauté avec technologie (Tv, internet, jacuzzi) et rusticité (cheminée, colombage, nature)! Un endroit paisible et chaleureux. Du personnel disponible et très agréable, des l’arrivée et jusqu’au départ. C’est un lieu que nous recommandons sans hésiter, et dans lequel nous aurons beaucoup de plaisir à revenir!

Super séjour. La salle de jeux est un vrai plus. On s’est éclaté

Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und haben einen super Service gemacht. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an zuhause gefühlt, da sie sich um alles gekümmert haben. Wir konnten das Haus von der ersten Minute an geniessen. So etwas tolles haben wir noch nie erlebt! Die Kommunikation ist einfach und schnell. Das Haus mit Whirlpool hat uns und unseren Kindern sehr gefallen, ebenso die ruihge Lage von der aus man tolle Ausflüge machen kann. Es liegt ruihg und abgelegen zwischen Feldern, die einzigen Nachbarn sind zwei Esel.

Very quiet and relaxing countryside home, if you don’t mind the church bells, next door, tolling every hours and half hours. The house has been renovated with brand new kitchen and bathrooms. The hot water capacity is adequate (the majority of homes in France we stayed at allows for warm shower enough for one person, not this one) Régine is very sweet and quite accommodating. We felt at home, the moment we arrived at her property. Thank you Régine for sharing your gut with us.

séjour hyper reposant et agréable. Deborah et Jean sont des hôtes sympa, réactifs, a l'écoute. leur maison est juste au top pour s'éloigner des bruits de la ville. un terrain verdoyer pour prendre l'air et des produits locaux hyper bon. ( cidre ,jus de pomme et gelée de pomme) le logement est situé non loin de Bayeux des plages du débarquement et de Caen. logement spacieux et très bien équipé. brochures des activités à faire aux alentours et livres à disposition si un retour en Normandie est à refaire ça sera chez eux sans hésiter !! je recommande ++++

We had a nice relaxing stay at the gite. It is quite remote and not walkable to any restaurants or amenities. But it’s an easy drive to Omaha Beach, Bayeux, Utah Beach and Saint Mere Eglise so a great location for exploring Normandy. We enjoyed our visit to Normandy and loved sitting on the deck in the morning sunlight before our day.

Barbara est d une gentillesse incroyable et très conciliante sur des demandes particulières. J ai beaucoup apprécié qu elle me rappelle en direct alors qu au départ son longement était géré par une conciergerie, qui finalement m avait laissé sans réponse. Ma famille et moi même avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison d hôte, très mignonne et très bien placée.

Un havre de paix à 7 minutes à pieds du centre-ville. La maison est bien équipée et le jardin privatif très agréable pour les repas.

Schöne Unterkunft im alten Stil. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren in der Normandie wie z.B. St Marlo, Mont St Michel oder die Strände der Normandie. Wir waren während Silvester da und es gab weder Feuerwerk noch Böller. Unsere Hunde haben das sehr genossen.

A wonderful place to stay in rural Normandy. Jean-Francois is an excellent, friendly & helpful host. La Baronnie offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway, with excellent outdoor space to complement the cosy lounge and kitchen/diner. Gouvets is a lovely quiet village with nice walks, and well located for the major sights and attractions of Normandy

Un charmant séjour dans le cottage, fidèle à la description et aux photos. On s’y sent tout de suite très bien. État impeccable, il a fait très beau donc le jardin est un vrai plus. Le lotissement est calme et le logement très bien équipé. A 10-15 mn à pied du centre et de la plage , 20mn en voiture de Deauville. Un grand merci pour l’accueil et la disponibilité, je garde l’adresse :-)

Nous avons été accueilli par Odile dans son très charmant gite. Le cadre est idyllique : nous sommes entourés d'arbres, de fleurs et de cerisiers. Les enfants ont passé beaucoup de temps avec les chèvres qu'ils nourrissaient et ils ont récupéré les oeufs des poules qui nous ont nourri. Nous avons été surpris par la générosité et la réactivité d'Odile : des oranges, bananes, noix et noisettes, cidre et jus de pomme, sans oublier les cerises (que nous avons cueillies) nous ont été gentiment offerts par Odile; la télé qui ne marchait pas a été vite remplacée. La maison est fidèle aux photos : toutes les chambres et séjour sont décorés de manière florale/romantique et sont très confortables et indépendants; La cuisine est complètement équipée. Le jardin est grand, avec de belles assises pour les belles soirées, et des balançoires et toboggans. Tout était à la fois fonctionnel et élégant. Qu'elle belle adresse de Normandie, et Odile est l'hôtesse parfaite au grand coeur. Grand merci Odile!

This was an amazing stay! Tony was very proactive from the beginning with helpful information and recommendations. The house is nestled in the countryside and would be hard to find were it not for Tony's very clear instructions illustrated with pictures to make sure we found it easily. The location is breathtaking, even in March when spring hadn't quite fruits way there yet. I'd love to return to see the blooms and fruit trees ripening. The surroundings were straight out of a storybook. The interior matched that effect. Rooms held decor featuring bunnies and florals in a true French country style that reminded me of childhood and tales of Peter Rabbit. We frequently saw wild rabbits nibbling the grass outside our windows. It was magical for our children. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more, even a play area with many toys, games and books. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft and warm. There was heat & hot water. Highly recommend!

Super week end très reposant. La maison est en réalité plus petite qu’en photo mais nous étions très satisfait et le jardin était super agréable. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon séjour !

What a pearl on our journey. Caroline and Sarah are offering a well equipped house in an charming area of the Normandy. Stick to their recommendations and you get a wonderful glance at the region and you feel to get friends - they are lovely, arty people loving their site. We where impressed.

Absolutely gorgeous location. Parking right next to the house. So quiet at night. Highly recommend!

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end, logement qui correspond en tout point au descriptif. Location bien située à proximité de la mer, livret d'accueil clair et la maison est très propre. Je recommande cette location.

Wir haben uns bei Véronique und Rémy sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese ruhige und gemütlich Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen. Sie sind als Gastgeber sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Wohnung war außerordentlich sauber und ist sinnvoll ausgestattet. Wir wussten vorher, dass sie etwas abseits liegt, wenn man aber Ausflüge nach Caen, an die Küste und in die malerische Suisse Normande machen möchte, liegt sie wunderbar. Das Anwesen ist wie ein kleiner Park, wundschön, ruhig und äußerst gepflegt. Wie würden jederzeit wieder bei Véronique und Rémy buchen.

Our stay at the gite at La Naomath was really good. It was very well furnished in a tradional french chic way. Both bedrooms were very comfortable. The terrace area has its own chairs and tables overlooking the lovely garden, perfect for lounging on after a day of touring. There is ample parking within the grounds although our old Citroen (1952) couldn't quite make it up the steep entrance drive but was happy parked up outside La Naomath! Nathalie was a wonderful host and gave us plenty of information to make our visit a great success. We took breakfast in her lovely 'restaurant' on the last day, which was delicious and was well worth it. We would definitely stay at La Naomath again and hope to visit this part of Normandy again sometime. Thank you for hosting us Nathalie.
