Holiday rentals with a kayak in Beaufort

Only issue we had, guys are avid fisherman, due to low tides and timing of such, we could not dock our boat at the house. Thankfully boat launch was 2 minutes down the road so it didn’t interfere with them fishing😊. Besides that perfect vacation, beautiful water, scenery, islands to tour and very relaxing time in the evenings😊

My husband and I had a magical 3 night stay at The Shack and it wasn't long enough! There is a lot of love and well thought out details put into this beautiful little oasis by the water. First, it is CLEAN and bright. Fluffy towels, pretty granite in the kitchen and bathroom, big fridge and the kitchen is well stocked. Snacks and coffee provided are a sweet touch. We absolutely loved sitting on the upper deck in the comfortable chairs and also the swing on the lower level morning and night. So peaceful and relaxing. The views are spectacular! The location is also a big plus with great restaurants close by. Il Cigno Italiano, the fried whole fish at Fish Hut (OMG!) and martinis and appetizers at Kathryn's Bistro were some favorites. We had so much fun riding the bikes to 34 degrees north for live music just 1 mile away. Emerald Isle beach, Fort Macon, Hammock Beach State Park are close by too. Jennifer is a wonderful host! So friendly, accommodating and quick to respond.

We were centrally located just south of the causeway bridge. Beautiful sunrise views across the intercoastal waterway. The entire place was spotless, including the yard, dock, fish cleaning table. Nice open floor plan. We love to cook and the kitchen was the best of all the places we have stayed. The water filter from the fridge did such a good job we didn't have to buy water and I am PICKY about the taste of my water. Great wi-fi speeds. We had several questions, like, where to get air for the bike tires, and Josh responded quickly. The inside of the house looks like a magazine but we felt at home. I think that is hard to achieve. Fun fun place to stay! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

The LightHouse was an amazing experience for my family. We over-packed to make sure we had everything, but Janet and the LightHouse crew made sure we had everything we needed and more. Absolutely beautiful experience. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, LightHouse crew, for a great experience.

We all felt this was our favorite place so far. It is near the end of the road with widely-spaced homes on large lots so we never heard a car but saw one woman walking her dog and lots of birds. There is a long dock and stairs to the beach. When we had a question about the oven Brent arrived within 5 minutes! A magical place…

The house was very beautiful, very clean upon arriving with a fully stocked big kitchen as described. Fully stocked coffee bar and wine chiller. The living room is a nice big size. The lay out of the house is very unique which gives multi families a sense of privacy. There are 3 flights of stairs, that are very steep and the entry stairs are very steep. I wouldn't suggest it for older people or as in our case, an amputee. Our host was very responsive. The pool was clean, decks clean. Super nice quite neighborhood. There is ample parking. All and all Super cute private house, with a small pool and sound access.

Jessie’s place was absolutely amazing. Extremely clean and very well appointed. We loved the pool and it was a very short walk to the beach. The location is very close to restaurants and public beach’s as well. The only issue was that our vacation was cut short by tropical storm Debbie. Can’t wait to rent with Jessie again in the future.

This house and stay was 5 stars across the board, we couldn’t have been happier and couldn’t have dreamed of anything we needed. Our rental was for two families 4 adults with 3 kids under 3, and we had an outstanding experience. The house and private beach were amazing, providing a safe environment for our kids to play and swim. It was close enough to swim and go back to the house for meals with no hassles. The property was spacious, perfect for multiple families, with plenty of room for both shared activities and personal time. The beach was private and spacious, offering a peaceful safe atmosphere. The host was highly communicative and responsive, addressing any questions or concerns quickly. Neighbors were friendly, offering helpful local tips. The house was well-equipped for family meals and game nights, making the stay enjoyable for everyone. Overall, we can’t say enough great things about the property for being family-friendly and we look forward to returning next year.

At the end of a mile dirt road was a beautiful & welcoming home with a great view. The host are right beside you if you should need anything. Clean & beautiful home with ‘soft big beds’ (as my daughter would say) 😉 Emerald Isle is close by to visit during the day. We enjoyed the park, aquarium, shopping, & dining. Kitchen was also nicely stocked for some nice cooked meals there! Hope we can come back again!

My husband and I had a lovely, peaceful time. Beautiful views, lovely breeze, and quiet surroundings. Not much to do in the area (which we love), so be prepared to spend quality time together or drive a bit. Kitchen is well stocked and furniture is clean and comfortable.

Oh my goodness! The cutest place to stay ever! We loved that we felt like we were right at home. We loved the surfboard shower and the outside bathroom was my daughter’s favorite! She now wants one back home.😊 We would definitely stay here again and will recommend others to stay if ever in this area. We loved it! Best one we have ever stayed at. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!

We love Pirates Hideaway. It’s a great spot on the sound with easy beach access. It has an amazing water view. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful week in this beautiful beach house. There were three adults, 2 children (11, 9) and we were very comfortable for the week. Angela was great to work with - always responsive, helpful and pleasant. The house is just as pictured - maybe even better. Beds are comfortable, plenty of space to spread out and it’s in a nice quiet location. The golf cart was amazing because the best spots on the beach (least crowded) were the ones with golf cart access only and it was a bit too far to walk it if you’re carrying beach gear. Not to mention the novelty of it for the kids! We would definitely recommend this house and we would be excited ti stay again!

Beautiful and well kept home. Love the closeness only 3 min drive from main beach. Teenagers were able to walk to DQ. They blew up the tires on the bike but one needs a tube. There was everything you would need except a potatoe masher (now there is one). Grocery store and shops were so close.

This was our family of three's third stay at Soundmohr and we loved it as always! We love having our own space instead of a noisy condo, and you can't beat the view of the sound with the private pier. Trent has always been friendly and accommodating and is very responsive to any concerns. Wish we could have started longer!
