Secluded lot with gorgeous landscaping…amazing details in the cabin…well laid out and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed! Really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful property that is secluded but also has lots of space. The fire pit and hot tub were great for spending time outside, and it's super close to the national park.

The chalet was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing and we had everything we needed. Great place to relax or enjoy nearby activities. 100% recommend! Was not overly price and well worth what we payed for a relaxing weekend which was exactly what we was looking for. Michael was simple, kind, and gave directions that was easy to find the location of our destination. We will be back again. Thank you so much for a nice affordable well worth getaway!

The first thing we noticed upon entering Papaw’s cabin was the cleanliness and freshness of the cabin. The location was convenient to the NRG area yet also was a private retreat. We enjoyed the hot tub and stargazing. Thank you Kristi for being a great host.

This was a great stay that was right next to Hawks Nest State Park and within 10 minutes or so of the northern part of New River Gorge National Park. We prefer to cook our own food when we travel and this place had a nice little kitchen and charcoal grill. I would maybe suggest adding either an extra table inside or a picnic table outdoors just to have a bit more surface space for food prep but otherwise no complaints. The hot tub was very relaxing after lots of hiking. Hoping to return to the area and stay here again next year.

My fiance and I were able to book the cabin for a last minute weekend getaway. The house was very clean, cute and perfect for what we needed. Our dog enjoyed the big fenced in yard, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner (bring your own seasonings though), and got restful sleep! We were beyond grateful to enjoy this home for the weekend! The biggest complaints on the reviews are the wifi and the driveway... we didn't have any issues with either personally.. but if you're afraid to get your car dirty or need to work the whole trip, maybe pick something closer to town.. otherwise its perfect to unplug and unwind!

We had a blast at Kevin's cabin in Summersville. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and more, and the grounds were just gorgeous, peaceful, serene, beautifully landscaped. We even used the area missing the picnic table as a Pokeman battle area! We always find so much to do in the Summersville area, but this year was extra special because the cabin was perfect - convenient to the lake but still private and spacious. We would love to come back next year!

We loved this place! It was close to everything but really felt secluded, so peaceful and quiet and with the lovely sound of the creek outside! Loved soaking in the hot tub watching the fireflies everywhere! The cabin was so clean, the bed very comfortable, and they thought of everything- extra toothbrushes, toiletries, teas and snacks...anything you miht need. Host very responsive too! We would definitely stay here again.

Great place with everything we needed during our stay! It was a close drive to Summersville Lake Marina where we were able to rent a dock to keep our boat there! The lake was beautiful- we plan to return so we can see some of the things we missed this trip!

The cabin is beautiful inside and in a peaceful location. It’s a little bit away from town but close enough to still have access to what you need. It was a great base camp for our trip to New River Gorge.

This was my first experience with air b&b or anything like it. Mark communicated every detail throughout the process. The house was beautiful and we were able to disconnect from life as a family. What an amazing experience. We love the area and will return!

An amazing property. Very peaceful. Hot tub A+. Heating stove in living room was very effective and nice to quickly warm up inside after a night time hot tub soak on the patio. Easy access to all directions and in the gorge. Friendly check in. The only ‘issue’ was the comfort of the mattress, but that’s a personal detail/preference and very hard to please every single person. What a comfortable three bedroom home with spotless bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. The WiFi was very adequate for streaming and our dog loved his own bed and fenced in yard. The best part is the quiet neighborhood close to a city park that connects to many of the trails within the national park. This is a great central location to explore the area. We had a great time!

The WV Hideout was absolutely perfect! Very clean and excellent location close to just about everything 👌 Our pups loved the fenced in yard ❤️ and the gated porch gave us peace of mind too when they were not playing in the fenced in area. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was just as described and perfect for a long weekend trip. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the fire pit out back the most. Although there are other houses around, it feels very secluded and private. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The host met us with fresh eggs and delicious homemade bread. The cabin is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The cabin is close to plenty of activities and great restaurants.

This place is definitely a hidden treasure especially for the price. Absolutely no complaints we wish we could have stayed there forever. The location was private, house was spotless, and Drema responded quick to any messages we sent her. We will be booking this again if we come back to West Virginia.

We enjoyed these cabins last year for the clay county golden delicious festival and enjoyed them so much when we had to come up for a funeral it was the first place we looked. Great little cabins, perfect for couples looking to getaway

We had a very nice few days at Half-Pint. In spite of some bad weather it was still possible to get out and visit New River Gorge and the surrounding area from Tara's cabin. Beautiful location, cozy interior, and Tara's responsive hosting made for a very good trip.

Garry’s place was exactly as described! The beds were comfortable and the location was beautiful. The outside area was pristine and well cared for. The interior had plenty of space for myself and our 2 teenage boys. All the kitchen supplies to cook full meals. It is very private and essentially a well cared for logging cabin with modern amenities. There is sulphur in the water as Garry states, but plenty of bottle water is provided and if you’re at all familiar with the area, sulphur in the water is a common occurrence. It was a trip of a lifetime for 2 teenage boys who love to fish and be outdoors!

Great location for exploring New River Gorge National Park. Loved the covered porch in the evening as we had lots of rain when we visited!

This place was perfect for our trip to a festival. Our stay was nice and the amenities made everything much more relaxing after long days put in the heat. It was close enough to both the fairgrounds and the lake to enjoy ourselves during the day. Tia was a wonderful host and when the door locked late after the show she was super responsive and helpful for us to get in at such a late hour. Would absolutely recommend this place for the future.

Cabin was great. Everything was nice and clean, instructions were easy to find for checkout. Loved having some extra spices/ingredients in the kitchen for meals. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfy!
