Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Bedford

This was my first Airbnb stay and it couldn’t have been a better experience! I definitely plan to stay there again in the future. There was a lovely traveller sharing the apartment, it was so convenient and such a great atmosphere in a classic Halifax house. Thanks Omar!

Jeff’s penthouse captures the cosmopolitan sceneries of downtown Halifax, from sunrise to sunset. The property is well maintained, sun lit, and is a rare retreat from the bustling city scene near the water.

Very convenient location, centre of town, across from the library and 1 block from Spring Garden Road. Condo was immaculate when I arrived. Parking spaces in the underground parking are large, a real plus, because it's not unusual to find them too small for comfort. Location of the garage entrance is on a one way street, but Jeremey made that clear to me before I arrived.

I can't think of a better place to stay in Halifax than Jeremy's! The location was ideal- we were able to walk out and find restaurants, cafes and grocery stores in minutes. We were a little concerned that we were on the second floor (due to noise issues) but we couldn't believe how quiet the building was- we never heard our neighbours or anyone in the hall. We loved the decor and the beds were so comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised at all the extras that came with the unit- so many kitchen supplies, laundry detergent, "clean" shampoo/soaps, plenty of towels, blankets, etc. It made our stay so comfortable. Jeremy was also very detailed with the instructions for the suite so we never had to contact him for anything, even though he was more than willing to help out. Thank you for a wonderful stay- we will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Jeremy’s place. Perfect location, walking distance to great restaurants and the waterfront. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Halifax, we hope to return soon!

Great place for stay located at downtown. I would come again. (+) spacious, clean, well equipped and felt like home. (+) AC with cold/heat options. (+) Parking is included. (+) excellent location. (-) lower floor at the building. There are no much isolation or privacy; you will hear the noise from street. However, the street is not busy at night. (-) The gym at the building is small with limited options.

This Airbnb was terrific for the following reasons: the location (ie central and near anything you may want or need), the amenities (in both the actual unit and the building), the host (he was very responsive and helpful), and the unit itself was big and bright and had everything we needed for a 3 day stay. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you Jeremy.

Jeff is a wonderful and attentive host. Accommodations just as advertised. Beds super comfortable and space clean with fabulous terrace. Very walkable neighbourhood and close to downtown. Would definitely recommend and return again. Thanks Jeff! BTW-the building manager was great especially when he assists me one morning when I managed to lock myself out. 🤪

The apartment was beautiful with incredible views. It was comfortable and clean, great location and safe, with easy access and great amenities. The bathroom was spacious and clean with great water pressure and perfect hot water. Bed was incredibly comfortable, climate control easy to use. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Halifax.

Great location for the downtown area although they are redeveloping the road right now to make it even better!

The Penthouse was the most comfortable place to relax and enjoy the view, have a coffee and visit. The beds were very comfortable after a day of travelling and walking about downtown Halifax. We found that it was very close to great restaurants and harbour sites. Highly recommend this modern penthouse.

I had a great stay at Jeff’s penthouse. The space was clean, well-maintained, and matched the listing perfectly. The view was absolutely incredible definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The location was convenient, and Jeff was a great host: responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and everything was exactly as expected. I’d happily stay here again.

Our family was coming for a wedding- it was a stunning place for us to gather and enjoy - reality- I wish would have been able to stay longer. I highly recommend this place- stunning space and great hosts. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything.

This house blew us away and we’ve stayed a lot of spaces. Honestly, it’s one of those rare places that’s actually better than the photos. Every room was so clean, and beautifully designed but still felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable. Our group of eight had tons of space to spread out and unwind. We only stayed three nights but instantly wished we’d booked the whole week. It’s the perfect distance for all the day trips we wanted to take. We explored Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and even Lunenburg and Wolfville (loved this place, it’s so cute!). I mean then there’s the games room, lake, pool and water toys. If you're on the fence—don’t be. I would highly recommend to anyone to book this house and book longer than you think. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’re staying for the week!

Rented the Art House for 6 people for our daughters graduation. All had room and right amenities. Really appreciated how they set up guest futon for us. Place is unique and beautiful. it is an art house with great modern industrial touches. The amenities were great. All we needed to cook for 7. great hot tub and fire table outside. tv with all access to key streaming. we loved our stay. our hosts were so responsive and accommodating. comfy beds. pmenty of towels. appreciated the coffee. highly recommend.

Rented this spot as a place for my parents to stay while visiting for the holidays. They enjoyed the comfy feel, kitchen amenities, sunny living room, and comfortable beds. Communication was excellent, and we were accommodated to add an additional night on short notice. Great spot for someone looking for a relaxing home away from home in this lovely area.

We had an absolutely lovely, comfortable and memorable stay at Brad’s beautiful and thoughtfully appointed home. We’ve stayed at many AirBnBs and we can confidently say that this one is outstanding and that Brad is an exceptional host. Brad’s place offers a perfect spot to relax and play by the sea and from which to explore the South Shore and Halifax. Sunday mornings’ flea and farmers markets nearby are an added, delicious and well-stocked bonus. We hope to be back again!

I booked CJ’s place last minute for member of our company’s upper management team. He went above and beyond for us given the tight timeline, was very attentive, provided clear instructions and was more than willing to help with unforeseen circumstances. My team had nothing but phenomenal things to stay about not only the property, but the property owner as well. We give a glowing recommendation for anyone interested in this property in the future

Heidi is a wonderful host and her house is very clean. We stayed here with our 3 year old and 6 year old, it was a great spot to access all the fun activities in Dartmouth and Halifax. Kitchen has the essentials. Would recommend and say again!

Great location for me, just next to the ocean and a park as well as a beach just 100m away. easy to get to and 20 minutes to the city away from rush hour. Tucked away for the street so no noise at all. Sits next to a little brook than runs by the south facing deck. Quiet neighbourhood with a few local restaurants and a coffee shop and gas station. Adam was very responsive to inquiries and helpful with local knowledge. There is good surf near by and nice places to walk along the ocean. Lawrencetown is not far as the house is at the start of the Eastern Shore.
